It's a fun game. Gunplay is pretty good and there's not too much frustrating stuff. Only wish I could read Ukranian.

It gives me a similar to vibe to Morrowind. Yes the combat is a bit simplistic but it's not the main focus of the game. The story and general vibe of the whole thing are what make it worth playing. It's buggy for sure but I am deeply hopeful the devs come back to this world in the future. The only real complaint is that it's short for this kind of game. 20-ish hours to finish and I was trying to get as much done as I could find.

Early Access Review
The characters are just as hot as they were in the first one, if that's what you're wondering about.

The art style is cute and there's a lot of skill involved with when to pick battles and the like, without being impossible to get into. Overall I'd say you should play it.

So the closest comparison I can make to this game style is Doom, in that you have a lot of guns, you have a bunch of movement abilities, and you generally mow down an unreasonable number of enemies. However it also a loot system. Enemies can drop armor and trinkets, and you can find weapons in chests with random quality and customizations. And you can also customize them in the main hub area (or just buy new ones).

As for the gameplay, it's not quite as tight and fluid as Doom, to make the comparison again, but still enjoyable. The side missions can be a bit more difficult than you'd expect for the area you unlock them. And at least as of the time I'm writing, the stability needs work. I've had a couple of outright crashes. But it's still an enjoyable experience, especially if you're a WH40K fan. It's nice to see just how awful the underside of a Hive Spire is, especially one as famous as Necromunda.

Early Access Review
It's an amazing example of the genre. It's early access at the time of writing this but it's a pretty well polished experience. There are the occasional non-gameplay bugs (stuff weirdly flying around if dropped from your inventory in multiplayer, for example) but it's an amazing, viking-y experience.

The combat feels good and it never gets too Repiditive. There are some performance issues in some areas, but otherwise it's a smooth experience.

It seems to be, in most ways, an improvement on the first one. Jericho city is much easier to navigate once you get your bearings, the combat seems more fluid and satisfying, and the more varied locations keep you interested as you play. The only downside seems to be that the story is less engaging than the first one.

It's a pretty good arena shooter that harken's back to Quake Arena or Tribes: Ascend (in a good way). The roles are varried and while some combinations may be better depending on the map or game mode, there is no "optimal team composition" and it's entirely possible for a team of five of the same character to win a match. Despite the negative response it seems to get elsewhere, it's an amazing game and worth the $30.

There are a few perfomance issues, my computer isn't top of the line but is still pretty powerful and cycles between 26-30FPS when scrolling around, but otherwise it's the same RTS you love.

The only thing that could make it better is if it included Rise of Legends.
