DLC OF THE CENTURY

Bosses 9/10:
This DLC has at least 30 bosses, Including the 2 hardest bosses in any FROMSOFT game. Technically more bosses than any game they've released other than Elden Ring itself.I personally think Gaius and Metyr fell VERY short of the bar, Gaius was particularly insulting because he didn't fit the "Hard but Fair" Design philosophy present in other bosses. On the other side of the spectrum you have Metyr. Metyr's Attacks , Appearance, Lore and Arena would have you thinking it's the hardest boss in the DLC. This is not the case, Metyr is one of the easiest bosses FROM SOFTWARE has ever made. Despite these 2 disappointments, The bosses in this DLC are masterfully done, even the NPC phantoms in the mausoleums are perfect.

World 10/10:
FROM SOFTWARE has gone back to their roots, the map featured in SOTE is an interconnected, dense, maze-like Masterpiece. The Ancient Ruins specifically is my favorite looking area in ELDEN RING. This DLC brought back the art of hiding half the map behind secret walls. Every Catacomb, Forge, Fort or Village is deliberately placed and designed with amazing care.

Weapons 10/10:
The DLCs weapon variety and quality are the best I've ever seen. They focused on making the moveset of each weapon unique and fun, The weapons look amazing and feel even better to use. The perfumers weapons are kinda OP but i mean, so was rivers of blood and moonveil. Nothing more to say honestly, Amazing Job.

Difficulty 9/10:
I beat the DLC before the Scadutree Fragment buff, and honestly I should've waited. The difficulty at launch was ridiculous, and if i wrote this review then it would sound much different. The bosses and enemies themselves are well designed and most of them have deliberate weaknesses. The Dungeons use alternative mechanics to give the players a challenge, something i really enjoyed. Some areas are downright sadistic though, mainly the abyss, I would've preferred fighting a dozen rune-bears at once over trying to parry the Orange Grape men.

Overall 10/10:
I cant justify anything below full points, because i haven't played a better DLC in my life. This DLC alone has more content any of the dark souls series game did. The last DLC I felt like this about was the Shivering Isles for oblivion back in 2007. Honestly i cant talk this DLC up enough every aspect was executed at the highest level.

Really easy if you decide morals dont matter! Not the kind of game you can just launch and start into action without having to reload or restart a bunch of times
