Just like I remember it!

TLDR; Buy the game.

I'll start off with saying that this game had me in all sorts of mixed emotions; having a decent RTS built this day in age is pretty much unheard of. I still remember the AoE, SC1 + 2 etc days with thousands of hours invested.

I'm not going to lie, the game has rekindled my feelings for RTS, I've currently spent 10 hours or so on this and already feel the need to review and recommend it.
The base game is great, it's challenging, you'll probably restart 9/10 times but it has a pause feature so you can wipe the tears from your face before you watch further of the defeated colony you let down because a solider was too busy cleaning his weapon.

The potential this game has, (Co-OP mode) - FFA, 5 v 5, it's endless. I really hope the developers expand this game to its full potential, having it still being in early access it looks very promising.
The game is also very exciting to watch, in fact it was placed in the top 10 most views games on Twitch and I believe is still up there.

This game can really test your strategic ability as well as your patience.

I'll rate this game an 8/10.

Further improvements for more units, buildings, defences would be great, possibly having the option to further your colony into a religion or belief which leads it down different items; people etc would be great too.

Endless mode is a must do.

Campaign mode has already been announced, can't wait.

Steam workshop support with custom maps would really expand this games audience also.

- Probably should also try and fix some of the zombies pathing, they do sometimes run into walls etc without doing anything, (This is very small scale, like 2 or 3 zombies at a time).

One of the best games I've played.
