Good game. Bad marketing. Bad is just keeping it polite, the proper language for the way DLCs are implemented here is much stronger.

Basically, don't buy without a DLC otherwise you will have a terrible experience. The base game items are horrendous and barely usable. If you want to kill anything you will need a DLC. Especially the guns. Vanilla ones are some sci-fi BS with meh accuracy and 0 damage. You want to hit anything? Pony up for the regular AKs and AR based DLCs.

This is JAMMED to the ghills in something called CREATION CLUB!
THEY FORCE UPDATE and BREAK any community mods you might have installed!!!
They do it to strong arm you to buy the RAW GARBEAGE on creation club! Essentially some HORRENDOUS mods that SUCK 99% of the time.

They keep updating and updating and there's no way to stop it!
STEAM SUCKS FOR ALLOWING THIS! WHY DO YOU LET THEM BREAK MY SOFTWARE?!!??!?!?!!??!

I bought it on sale for 3 bucks and I regret it! Never tought I'd request a refund for 3 dollars but here we are...

The game seems fine at first but ... only at 1st. It's got at least 5 more years of development to work right.

1. This is an EA games style loot-box-rama! It's only for cosmetics but will absolutely spam you to death with their stupid lootboxes.
2. The A.I. is very badly one and most of the time NOT FUNCTIONING AT ALL! you get units just jammed in 1 place not shooting unless you control them.
3. Most game modes, especially conquest are SUPER unfair or Stupidly difficult to beat. In order to compensate for the idiotic AI the game just spawns HORDES of enemy, I mean hordes! You will, most of the time face 10-20 times more enemy units than you can have.
4. Level design is HORRENDOUS! AI has spawn protection RIGHT ON TOP OF YOU! You can't hold a position because enemy units will just eliminate anything close objectives on MANY maps from behind spawn protection. They just sit there firing missiles and eliminating any dug in vehicles you have with impunity.

Horrid, pay to win, pay to skip grind, terrible community.

The sort of MMORPG that eats your life if you want to do anything.
