I had gotten this game upon the early release stages when it was receiving updates for the first three months and preferred it over Dark & Darker with it's fresher class choices in the very least... But it became apparent that this was a grab the money on a popular game style and run it to the dirt then close up shop when it isn't popular anymore, kinda like what happened with the HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of vampire survivor clones. The game had solid play for what it's worth and didn't feel as clunk as Dark and Darker did on launch, but being as that's actually free to play and you only spend money when you've tried it and liked it Vs the 40+ On base and the exrta micro trans and "supporter" packs before this game was made FtP... But hey I hope this is also a learning lesson to the community and to other would be indie devs, Just cause something that's good and great doesn't mean that you should dogpile on that style of game especially for a quick buck when you're up against an actual labor of love, and i hope any amount of refund becomes available, even if it's just $10 steam credit on part of the ♥♥♥♥ practices that steam allows on their platform. But unfortunately I doubt it, and for everyone who's saying lawsuit i also doubt it beyond a small settlement to valve or whatever, we the players will probably not be seeing it. Also to everyone who is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on Mithril Interactive, Stop. The problem here is Proxima Beta Pte. Ltd. / Level Infinite & Tencent Games . Mithril Interactive was a small studio overseen by them to make a Dark and Darker competitor, end of story. But that does NOT excuse the greed and ♥♥♥♥ practices displayed with this game and it is quite unfortunate that there are a ton of game devs and companies that do this.

I really wished to enjoy this game, just it's simply not good. Well maybe if your a masochist and love a good struggle to literal insanity. It's a great concept, poor execution of a product.

Pro's: In depth factions and story after a bit it gets bearable.
A true game no nonsense you see what you get, no buying micro trans or dlc as of yet and is a full game.
Decent setting and relatively well modeled scenery and creatures that is wonderful.
No worldly limits other than your jetpack. "wink also a con wink"
Certain NPCs you can get fond of.
In theory this game can be wonderful... just it isnt.

CONS: Character models are actually pretty terrible for you and almost every other npc. No customization.
A less than stellar voice cast didn't help either, it's better to mute voices and go by subtitle text.
You are literally shoved onto the berserkers with no say or choice like "HEY THESE ARE THE GOOD GUYS BE THEM JUST DO IT NO QUESTIONS RIGHT?"
It's not that stable of a game and not well optimized yet. (Trust me my rig runs plenty of things just fine at high to max at 70-80 frames) More of a still buggy over complexity of code I think door jamming.
The over the top enemies progression in difficulty is literally retarded to the point that oh you can kill these just fine but walk two steps over there and it's suicide because you have no telling how strong it is until you lock on. And you have a ♥♥♥♥ hatchet.
Gear and leveling up your attributes, unless you minmax for melee or gun combat since lvl 2 you're useless. Seriously. And it's like you have to know well ahead what you want and what it's costing you.
Not newbie friendly at all in that fact.
Combat is a disaster in melee and everything has a ranged attack, yes even simple creatures can so you can't try to "hunt it" or be tactical about it.
Stealth is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke the AI always knows until you burn perks late game.
Jetpack cheesing as I call it is the only safe ish way to fight with grenades to farm so. Honestly I don't see the appeal most of you guys see in ELEX. The gothic are classic and the learning curve is there but JESUS CHRIST Adolf Hitler could have used this game as torture to find out where the jews were hiding with how punishingly idiotic this game is.
The main story is not that "great" you get better side missions from a chem junkie that is more lovable than your own mother. Kinda a pro.

But seriously a big buyer beware this ain't dark souls hard or easy, it's the definition of insanity you will keep doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. Eventually you may make it and grind and groan your way trial and error to play at a pitiful amount of "fun".
All in all.

So if you are a stable person and know that hey some games are a fine concept but bad execution. This is the prime example of just that.

But hey.
If your a masochist and love to hate yourself and waste your good money, then this will supply your fetish and drive you to insanity worse then looking at a shoggoth in the eyes.
