I was interested in hunt because it was a interesting looking alternative to tarkov.
I think that there is a game here for people that like arena shooters but the game was not for me.
The guns felt super clunky, your character progression is really wonky where you hire random people and looting takes a backseat
In pvp I found it wasn't strong either as you are either being blown up by dinamite or getting killed with one shot.
This might just not be for me and others will love it but I can't suggest

I suggest holding out until more features get added, it feels really buggy and feels like more of a beta for KSP1 than an new advanced version.

I was super into monster hunter world and I wanted to go into Rise after expecting a similar or better experience but I got a boring story, watered down combat, empty world and confusing reversal of working systems.

With the inclusion of wirebugs you are able to be more mobile around the map but this mobility comes at a huge cost of the removal of scoutflies and the map being generally emptier. Wirebugs also can make combat way too easy as when you take a hit you can just wirebug away, heal up and get right back in without any consequences

Pros
-Quick travel is a lot faster: easily travel in town faster
-The japanese setting is interesting
-Combat is faster: spend less time fighting one monster
-?Combat is easier: You heal for more, take less damage on average

Con
-Wirebugs while seems interesting mobility option makes combat too easy and the map designed poorly.
-Combat is faster: Things are a bit more hectic than strategic.
-Single player and multiplayer has been split into two quest streams
-No scoutflies
-The story is awful
-Rampages are boring and poorly designed
-Bowguns mods have been stripped down to two options shield or power barrel and the others such as recoil and reload have been moved to gear

-If you like space games like Elite Dangerous and don't mind taking a while to get to places.
-If you don't mind there being bugs, UI issues and weird quirks with your game
-If you don't mind the grind to get started

Otherwise you should stay away for now until the game matures. It is in a pretty alpha state and that is not a bad thing. Its just growing. Right now I could not recommend it until they get a few things improved and I will update the review later to reflect this.

This game looks interesting and has a fun idea but it executes it SOOO poorly.

I got this in a humble monthly and thought it give it a shot. I love sim city and it has the same vibe but I found the UI to be so fiddly and not giving you back a lot of important information. The tutorial said I failed even though it never told me what my goal was.

If you love old sim city / Transport Tycoon you may enjoy this but I think you may just get more enjoyment out of replaying them.

This is one of those games where you can just have a fun game with light strategy and interesting character. If you like card based strategy games, this is the best.

The game has so much setup and atmosphere but the story falls super flat and the ending is super disappointing.

It took me less than two hours to complete with very limited puzzles. If you wanted a game that does something similar go play Event[0].
