I've seen the dearest of my kin spend countless hours here with me, I've seen them tall as our crimson skies, beautiful as the pristine running rivers of the woods, I've seen them rise and fall, I've seen them go. I've witnessed my confidants on their knees and some have seen me scratching the floor as they dragged me across it to make me stand upright once more. I've been face to face with fear and I've seen it cower, too, afraid to look at me - its victim - in the eyes. I'm an attestant to many wars of so-called great people, I'm a perpetrator to numerous troubled souls, I'm a victim to countless atrocities of man and these scars are what make me, build me, ruin me. All these memories and moments once alive, now only true in word shall all one day be lost to time, like tears in rain.
