I am definitely not a fan of Souls games (I would even say a hater) and I went into this game with very high expectations. Mostly decided to give Code Vein a shot because of character aesthetics and idea that we use various spiky things coming out of us to finish off enemies.
I was completely pulled into the world within first few hours and ended up enjoying pretty much all aspects of it, especially the amount of Blood Codes (playstyles) there are and how they are actually connected to characters you learn about during playthrough.
