Better than Concord

Game will work until it won't.

Game barely runs, you can't even go in a match without getting crashed over and over again. This game is dead. RIP Cod BO3.

Update: If you have downloaded controller drivers to run DS4 or DSX, disable them. They are the reason why your game suddenly crashes constantly. If not, disable all Msconfig services (besides microsoft's own services) and enable them one by one till your game crashes again. And basically disable that service and keep the others on.

A big step-up from the first game and added more lore to the game itself overall haha. I absolutely love it, it even made me jump from time to time with its scares.

Honestly? Akabaka should really make a Anime or a Show out of this Sucker for Love games. I would love to receive a lot more lore's :P

Definitely play it if you liked the first game, looking forward for a possible DLC!

For short; Game is very fun to play with fun circle of getting resources to survive and catching Pal's and fighting with bosses around the huge open world while discovering what happened and how these Bosses got in control in different areas of the map. Basic, but very fun. And it works. 9/10

Now, before I wanna go on to tell how so, I wanna get rid of the elephant of the room and that is "This game is just a Pok- clone"

...No, its not. It has the similar idea of monster catcher genre and that doesn't make it the same thing. If so, Digimon and many other similar games, shows and toys would've been sue'd long time ago. It's the same in Japanese Law's, not sure why people keep bringing "Japan has different law's" when there is too many Anime's that uses same style of Pok- and the genre of Monster Catcher.

With that out of the way, game offers very simple yet enough survival elements such as hunger, stamina, temperature and sanity for pal's and yourself. And honestly? I question the survival games these days when they do 'hey, you need to eat but you need to cook JUST RIGHT to get full and not sick and if you get sick and cold or your clothes gets wet you're f*cked' bullcrap. This kind of survival is enough for games that needs grinding and travelling.

For Pal's, which is the creatures of this wonderful world, They are really fun companions, workers for your bases, great mounts and resource fillers such as food, basic crafting materials and more. They are really great and cute companions, just keep them sane by building hot tubs and great beds!

For the story itself, its weak. But again, why would you expect an excellent story from such game like Palworld? It's enough as it is and leaves open ideas to implemented to the story itself.

And of course, there are some bugs and glitches. Some major and some minimal. Most annoying thing about this game is the pals on your base stops working or gets stuck inside a wall and starves to death. Game really needs a better path finder for the AI of Pal's. Because its broken and sometimes I barely wanna revive them due to them getting stuck again. And sometimes they are just getting stuck at one part of the base and never leaves, even though they are hungry. As if there is a invisible wall. But other than that, I haven't really saw game breaking bugs or soft locks which would've been really bad. I haven't played on public servers or official servers yet, due to hackers. (Yes, I am surprised this game indeed has hackers for some reason.) but I'm sure with the right server that has better connection and minimal lag, and some friends or good guild will make your experience a lot better.

For Co-op though, I love it. I've been playing with my friends and my girlfriend and we have been showing our captured Pal's and flexing on each other. I don't know when was the last time we did such flexing like we were kids. It really brought me back to the time when the Pok- was better.

I hope some major bugs like Pal's not working or getting stuck gets fixed soon, but currently its on Early Access. So of course, its always expected to find bugs or problems like these. Plus, Dev's already confirmed there will be new Pal's added with upcoming updates so... I am actually hyped to see how this game will evolve!

9/10 - Palworld is a really good surprise game for 2024!

Game has a lot of potential, I really hope Dev's don't leave it and go away. This game will be really good with more missions added in the future, I can see that. Map's are long and has multiple objectives you and your crew can do. And yes, mostly you need Friends to play this game. But it is also possible to play alone. You'll die a lot but surely with new updates they'll add a Solo missions. Game has various tactical elements and realism with SCP fiction sparkled creating such an amazing concept and a game. I will be waiting for the full release for sure!

I really wanna see the next game and what will be the new story. This update really felt like I'm playing Sonic Adventure 3 and Kingdom Hearts 3 Re-Mind DLC, with how they brought back elements from Adventure series to the gameplay did really surprised me. It's been a while since a game dev. made a free dlc for these. Normally they charge people... Big respect sonic team. Worst part about this DLC was HOW HARD THE TRIALS WAS. But the story, the tone, the new abilities, new playable characters, overall new ending to the game. I was expecting more of The End at the end of the story, because after passing all those trials and suffering, the final boss (after figuring out what to do) was really easy. I was expecting The End taking a form like how dark gaia was in Unleashed but whatever. It was a nice lovecraftian monster anyways haha. I'd give 8/10, -2 because fun factor taken away with these stupidly hard challenges.

I get it. Overwatch in general is a good, fun game. At least used to be. Even though community is hella toxic. But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the company is hella greedy. Not only that you need to grind your ass over the battlepass if you wanna experience new heroes. Or play unreal missions like "play Tank role or go in a match All role 35 times" Like HELL.

Plus at least with lootboxes we could get enough money to buy skins. Not defending the whole Lootbox system of course, that was ♥♥♥♥ as well. But at least it didn't made us grind for only 50 credits per mission. It's just bullcrap. Right now I've checked and you need to level up 8 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ times to get 150 credits that can get you 0 heroes nor skins. You have to grind this ♥♥♥♥ for weeks. If it gave at least 500 credits then sure. Why not? But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this is a waste of time.

And about Battlepass system? just another excuse to lock new heroes to the paywall. It's either you pay for it and grind your ass to make your money doesn't go to waste. Or grind it to 45 levels just to play a new upcoming hero/heroes.

Oh also, "Invasion" mission. Right hahaha. Is this why people waited for PVE content? To pay for literally FREE events that is taken from OW1? The mission was waste of time and hella boring. Nothing justifies about this paid PVE content they are trying to push.

I'll give them credit about this though. They made OW2 free. Way way before they were going to charge you for this game. Imagine they charging you for a game + all these MEGAtransactions.

Funny enough, all the reviews are fair and justified when looking at this once a great game's state. I'm just Sad. Angry. Hearthbroken. Games used to be fun, not casting money to play new heroes. I don't care about PVE content since I've already got my taste with this "free mission". I've already peaked and its waste of time and money... but at least do not take away the fun of actually playing this game.

Edit : They cancelled PVE mode completely, scammed everyone basically. And game is still requires unreal amount of playtime for you to unlock just one hero. GG Blizzard, you destroyed a game that I really loved.
