If stanley parable was an avant-garde horror game with a big bad that chases you à la pyramid head, MiSide nails that concept with flying colors. For a game about a "cute anime girl turning evil", the horror aspect sure is solid. Sure, it might be cheap jumpscares here and there but the game is also quite the rollercoaster: moments where you can take a breather, then building dreadful tension in the next area, and possibly (not always) proceeding to a climax where your adrenaline is pumping in response to absolute terror, not to mention how non-euclidean the layout of some areas can be, it's hardly ever as simple as going from point A to B. I've felt my anxiety as well as my heartrate skyrocket in a few particular segments, and I give props to this game for such a feat. Overall, worth playing blind.

This is the worst thing I've ever played. It's pure shock-porn that I couldn't bring myself to continue reading. Anybody who claims this is a masterpiece or an interesting experience is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up in the head, and I don't care how well written this is, if you're quick to defend something about a sexual relationship between a monster depicted as a loli and a sociopathic murderer you need to play something else.

I wasn't expecting much from this mod, but it is exceptionally good. I feel like the puzzles with only the first portal gun were the best, since I had to seriously use up a lot of my brainpower. My only complaint is by the time you get the second portal gun you can solve the puzzles much more quickly, at least in my run, as the difficulty of solving the puzzles gradually drops and sometimes feels a little repetitive. The story itself is pretty simple and straightforward but it's decent. With all that being said it's worth your time to play through this mod.

There isn't much to say about this Lethal Company clone, but it is worth the 8 dollars if you got a tightly knit group of friends. The lifespan of this product might not be reliably long, but hopefully that'll change sometime down the line if they keep updating it.

Early Access Review
Everything that goes on in LC is like having a fever dream. Exploring an industrial randomly-generated labyrinth for a rubik's cube and a clown horn to meet the quota only for a demon from hell to trivialize all your efforts and purchases, causing you to run away and accidentally kill 3 fellow crewmates by stepping on a landmine.

Seeing virtually every person on my friend's list buy LC made me think this game must be some kind of scheme, but eventually I was gifted it by a friend who begged me to play for the past week. Not even 2 hours into the game and I felt like I experienced a 40 benadryl high. It might be a horror game, but the models for everything have a silly run animation and the players have the ability to dance, and at the same time there's immersive proximity chat that gets affected by the environment, not to mention the exact same ♥♥♥♥ I've seen while in a state of sleep paralysis.

For those who are looking to not play a game for competitive play or progression, but rather play a game that makes you question whether or not the events took place, Lethal Company is for you.

It's addicting, it's free, easy to learn and better than spending $70+ on any slop that was pushed out this year so far. Game of the year 2023.

This is the only game I've ever played where I screamed so loud and so long that my mom asked me if I was okay. The worst part is I had to lie about what happened because I did not want to explain what happened to my character in this game.

0/10 for putting me through this experience.

A great game sadly crippled by denuvo, it's addicting and charming at the same time. Never bothered listening to many vocaloid songs but playing this is a great way to get exposed to it, and now I consider myself a big fan. Just know you're gonna be in for a nightmare if you plan on going completionist...

I've played all the previous games over the past 5 or so months and if this game makes for a perfect grand finale, though you'll have to finish the game to find out why. The story is morbid; Kamurocho has become second only to Hell itself, the criminal underworld is nothing but cheaters and literal backstabbers, and as you progress through the game you will keep seeing one evil antagonist being thrown under the bus by one who is 10x more evil, and then the next by one who is 100x more sinister, and so on. I won't spoil, but this game is probably the most tragic in the series.

As for gameplay, I honestly think the fighting in this game is way worse than Yakuza 3's; it is generally floaty and slow-paced, there are no weapons you can equip, fights dont feel fun, they ruined the heat bar in exchange for 'heat orbs', and also this is minor but they removed the multiple health bars from bosses, which makes every boss feel underwhelming as hell. This game would have easily been one of the most fun in the series had they kept everything from 0/kiwami. I feel like moving onto a new engine was a bad idea, even if it brought in some cool features like being able to take a fight into a local convenience store, but it came at the cost of totally rebuilding the feel of the fighting systems someone who has been playing most of the other games enjoyed. What made 0 such a great success was how it took the already well-established one from 5 and blew it out the water, and then Kiwami refined it even further. All that effort went to waste when RGG tried to make a new fighting dynamic from the ground up as opposed to just carrying over everything from the previous engine, in fact I am not sure why a new engine was necessary, though I will say some issues are fixed in Kiwami 2, but I still prefer 0/Kiwami much more.

Does that mean Yakuza 6 is not worth playing? Absolutely not, otherwise I would have just spoiled the plot for myself, and chances are you've beaten the entire rest of the game anyway, so skipping this game is a bad idea.
