Review below is outdated. You don't have to read it.

This is first time I'm writing review for the game in English, expect mistakes in this text.(Read this with Russian accent yes)
Also this review will be re-written soon(probably) with same "Not recommended" but neutral in review itself.

"Small" backstory: At 2017 I heard about QC from many Youtubers and some friends of mine, but the thing it was Early access and it was too expensive for me and it wasn't good that time, I decided to leave the game for next year. So at June I got this game for free, and next month I bough Champions pack. But after playing this everyday for three weeks, I finally got what to say about this project

So Quake Champions is quite dynamic and fun game to play at free time with friends or alone(As it was with Quake 3 Arena), in the same time it has lots of problems devs can't deal with since previous year.

Why can I recommend you this game:
1. Music: I was playing this game at June, music was really boring on all maps and even main menu, making me turn on my own. For now It's changed to better side: Adapting to your actions during the match(If nothing happens, it stops for short time), not raping your ears with boring sounds.
2. Maps itself. There's not a lot of them, mainly three maps for each theme(There's 4 themes for this game), some of them are small, some of them are big, and some of them are...high, yeah.
3. Game modes. You can Choose Team DM, FFA, Duel or 2v2. Finally at last update they've added bots, so new players can train with them.

Guess that's why I can recommend this game? Yes, this is all, now let's get to my favorite point. Why I can't recommend this game:
1. Matchmaking (Main problem). Basically it just exist, it's not looking for players your skills or your level at least. It can give you as new players in enemy or in your team, as and pro players who can handle 40 frags without dying. Don't even try ranking, you may face one of the two problems: 1) You may stand against players that is already ranked and have high rank, or you may wait for match for...my maximum was 25 minutes. 2) If you are going 2v2, you have a risk to do this 1v2 as your teammate may leave. I think this because of not many players playing this game.
2. Netcode (Main problem). I've played many FPS, and some of them for long time. If I dodged the shot I ACTUALLY dodged it. If I hide behind the wall in the second before getting shot I ACTUALLY...You get my point. So sometimes from your perspective you shouldn't get any damage, but in the same time you got. Or if you shoot straight at the enemy, damage do not register, though you did hit the enemy.
3. Balance (Main problem). Champions: Not big variety, yeah, some of them came from old ID games. What about them, most of them are disbalanced or unplayable at all. Champions like Anarki, Nyx or Slash can get easily killed in less than 3-5 seconds, or get easily one-shoted from shotgun at melee distance, this caused by their lack of armor at the respawn, they don't even have it like other characters. Champions like Visor and Death Knight have really OP abilities, that can be used every minute or even less(Also I will mention that buying Champions is too expensive in-game and you will have to play lots of matches to get money for exact champion, if he/she is not free pick). Guns: Most of the time you will see players using Lighting Gun or Rocket launcher, because they are doing high damage and it's easy to use them. Most annoying when all 4 people in enemy team using them. When dev will do something with balance? Somewhere at the Winter, yeah, pretty good job so far.
4. Cheaters(Main problem). So it's about the year game is still early access and...It still doesn't have any anti-cheat. I have nothing else to say about this
5. Not friendly to new players. So game has only one tutorial which can't actually help, it won't teach you how to shoot from weapons at least, do bunny-hop(Which is important part in the game to move faster) or do rocket-jump - it's on you to handle it. Also if you are new, you may face pro-players in enemy team and spoil your opinion about this game at the start of playing it.
6. Music. Have I said that music adapts during your actions in the match, making game more dynamic? Well here's problem that music can stop like any time sometimes and not playing during all match, destroying all atmosphere.
7. Maps. Personal opinion: most players choosing small maps and sometimes you can play on the same map 3+ times and I really hate it.

So I can say that's all. Even though this game is Free-to-play, and I "Don't recommend this" as steam shows, keep in mind that I'm standing neutral point.

Итак, я за эту неделю просидел тут 40 часов и готов написать обзор, с достойными минусами и плюсами, которые вы, уважаемые читатели, давно уже читали или слышали от своих друзей, которые тоже являются фанатами третьей части HoMM.
Начнем же с плюсов, для чего можно купить героев:
1) Если вы хотите снова Возродить Эрафию, но вы хотите взглянуть на новую картинку, то эта игра как раз для вас.
2) Некоторые сценарии из оригинальной части переработаны, дерзайте играть как в одиночку, так и с друзьями.
3) Очень простой мультиплеер, посторонние программы не нужны.
На этом, плюсы у меня закончились. Поэтому перейдем к минусами:
1) Не покупайте игру, если вас не интерисует графика, повод для разочарования есть в третьем пункте "Минусов"
2) В игре встречаются баги, которые очень сильно мешают игровому процессу. Серьёзно, у меня в 50% случаях юниты не могли атаковать второй раз, даже когда у них была возможность, ход просто переходил к другому юниту.
3)Оспаривая первый пункт из плюсов, хочу сказать, что тут только оригинальная игра "Возрождение Эрафии", и за 2 года так и не добавили "Клинок Армагедона" и "Дыхание Смерти". Я до сих пор разочарован.
4) Нету случайного генератора карт, который так любили многие игроки в "Полном собрании"
Хоть чаша весов не в равновесии, хочется сказать, что я НЕ говорю вам, что не стоит покупать данную часть. Я купил её как коллекционер HoMM и прошел её только сейчас. У меня было куча эмоций во время прохождения и множество забавных моментов с друзьями.
Покупать или нет, решайте сами, но хочу сказать, что есть HD мод на оригинальных третьих героев, который будет удобен для всех(Почти) игроков(Можно спокойно проводить фановые турниры, выставить разрешение, гамму. Удобное составление команд и выбор замка с героем. А так же бои проходят быстрее). Там же можете поиграть в случайные карты, пофанится с друзьями и пройти "Клинок Армагедона" и "Дыхание Смерти".

В заключении хочу сказать, что это был мой первый полный обзор, в котором, возможно, есть куча ошибок. Скоро сделаю поправки

Ой, надо бы обзор немного обновить.
Так вот, я забыл упомянуть, что в игре есть Кода.
А с новым(Уже нет, ибо фактически прошло уже 8-9 месяцев с момента его выхода) дополнением у вас появится Темпо.
