Raiders! Forsaken earth is a game that is about you being an aspiring despot and looting a region to bankruptcy while expanding your operation till you can replace the current despot with yourself. It is a truly fun experience with many cool ideas. I do however think that the replay-ability is a little limited. I've played 2 games and each one went mostly the same, not to detract from the quality of this game because it is definitely quality, but it does not have quite enough content for me to want to return often.

I miss something like a tech tree, or more mechanics like the law mechanic, more late game progression other then just curb-stomping the opposition, having built my artillery and land sail I quickly ran out of resource sinks, more levels to the home base would be nice too, just more resource sinks in general would honestly be appreciated. (allowing me to not just conquer the region but also lead/change it in my image would awesome)

Pretty good, scratches a similar Itch to banished. The game has some interesting ideas like combat, cards and border expansion, which add a little extra layer of planning to the game. Strangely it doesn't feel as polished as banished, Banished is a fairly simple game, but what it does it does to near perfection, this game still has various glitches; these range from UI bugs to weird AI behaviour(mostly them being just terrible at expanding and surviving). I haven't tried combat yet so I can't say anything on that.

Performance is pretty hit or miss honestly, mostly the transition from "world view" to village view. I don't know if its possible to reduce this transition effect but it would be much appreciated.

The amount of content in this game is already substantially more then whats in banished so I would say its worth the asking price.

Love the game so far, although... the performance is honestly terrible. I hope they fix it asap. I seriously think its fun, reading other comments shows that it seems to be due to some asinine anti-cheat program that was added. ♥♥♥♥ companies that do this.

I recommend the game, but I expect that TWW3 will be similar to me as TWW2 was, which is a love-hate relationship. they will probably flood us with dlc's eventually, and btw, the worst one of all being the stupid blood dlc. F*ck creative assembly for that piece of sh*t.

Exellent, This game has a similar pull to it as Binding of isaac, currently the replay value isn't that high since there aren't that many items and not many synergies. As the content gets added this game will get better.

PS. This game is definitely worth the asking price. 10 hours for this price is a no brainer, and its only going to get better.

Love the game, its very fun in short bursts, definitely worth at least trying.

I played 25 hours in 2 days, so its clear that I really enjoy this. The game is very fun, the core game play loop is incredibly satisfying, the only problem for me stems in the fact that the game has a very linear research/progression path (IE not enough stuff) limiting the variations of ships that you can build. While this will obviously change as the game progresses through early access it is a factor that you need to think about when buying it now. Just know that if you get into it now you will probably spend many hours learning the systems and then spend many hours on your "perfect run" and not much after that.

PS This game is one of the most bug free early access games I have ever played, which I think they should be applauded for, this game is a quality product.

Below are some more in-depth items and suggestions that are only interesting to you if you've played the game.

- The game needs more cosmetic options (I am talking flower pots and trees! more variations for relaxing activities would also be appreciated), I spent ages on customizing my ship and I couldn't even bling it up like I wanted.

- It needs more variety in all the tech branches since there is a very clear progression of one thing being better then another thing. No choice involved (very little experimenting needed) in picking your facilities. (adding minor variations that produce less heat/discomfort would already add a lot)

- The comfort system needs some fine tuning, if you use a system like this (where any discomfort nullifies any comfort) you need variations of machines that are maybe less effective but also less noisy/disruptive. The way its currently structured makes it a little too restrictive to my taste and illogical because a real space ship would have gas filtration systems everywhere but in this game you are actively insensitivized not to.

- The Combat system is interesting, I actually like it a lot, but again there only being 2 options for turrets and no way to upgrade them makes me sad :-/. And being able to make turrets in ships themselves would make it much riskier to charge blindly into enemy ships and vice versa.

- The mining and salvaging mechanic is great, but there not being Combat and mining drones is something that I don't understand, in a way this makes your crew more important but in another way I have loads of jobs for them to do on the ship proper and having to send them out late game to mine and clear derelicts is a bit disappointing to me.

For me personally this game was too much of a change, I wanted a game like Age of wonders III but more polished and streamlined + scifi, what I got was a completely different game. I personally find the game incredibly confusing and just in general over-complicated. Felt similar to CIV 6 in that they tried to renew the genre but just ended up making it less enjoyable in the long run.

I found the Tutorial woefully inadequate as well, I honestly had no idea what I was doing going into my first proper mission. If you plan on properly learning this game you will probably end up going through a lot of pain by learning by doing or you will watch a lot of youtube videos.
