I've been gaming since the 80s. I've worked many fields; hospitals, cabinet factories, dairy farms, coffee packing, electrician. After making my "Droid Sucks" ringtone in the iTunes Music Store for iOS, I focused more in online work. I'm in Kansas, in my 30s, married, and work from my basement.

Well, I have finally built my new build.
Sabertooth X99, Intel Core i7 5820K, 16Gb Corsair DDR4 C14, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970. After a two hour burn-in the day I finished a couple days ago. I feel confident this will be a good rig for a quite a while. :steamhappy:

So if I'm understanind this correctly, the first 6850 I had was bad. I put my 4650 back in, no crashing whatsoever.

To be clear my trouble shooting has been more than exhastive. Clean OS install, tested old, curent, and beta drivers, still always crashed. No benchmark or diagnostic can recreate the problem. I'll test the second 6850 alone for the next 24hours and if it's fine, then i'm exchanging the first one. There is no point in having crossfirex when you crash 5min into any game except Plants vs Zombies.
