El nuevo estandar de los remakes y si me apuras de los triple A como tal, esto es la nueva barrera de calidad.

Voy a ser 100% objetivo con esta reseña.

Lightfall es una expansion de 50€ con mas contenido reciclado que Shadowkeep.

Si quitas la narrativa blanducha y mapeado un poco sosillo, te dejas una expansion que lo unico realmente nuevo es la nueva subclase del Strand, las armas nuevas de Neomuna usan el mismo modelo que las de la Luna de Shadowkeep, y la ciudad en si esta construida con assets del laboratorio de Bray de Beyond Light, asi que mas que una ciudad se siente otro laboratorio sci-fi mas.

Es una expansion de relleno, como Shadow Keep, en un momento de la vida del juego donde nos aproximamos al ultimo arco final de la narrativa.

No puedo recomendarlo, no a este precio, no a 50€, 10€ mas que Witch Queen de salida, espera a una rebaja interesante o busca un mejor precio en otras paginas.

Like Resident Evil 2: Remake, the devs knew the do's and don'ts of what they were working with, a flawless remake that manages to keep the spirit of the original game and only adds enough new content here and there, the Dead Space gameplay feels fresh as ever with this new coat of paint, with the only new aspect of the gameplay being the gore being layered (skin>muscle>bone> then the limb gets cut)

Some new dialogue here and there, ficts perfectly since its just more context to the Unitology that veterans of the series are gonna enjoy and newcomers will understand the whole religious theme, Isaac speaks too, with Gunner Wright returning as Isaac, the same VA for DS2 and DS3, solid dialogue that fits the character, nothing overblown, Isaac still is the good ol' mechanic that its fighting for his life here, Nicole VA, Tanya Clarke came back for her character and same as Isaac, nice dialogues, solid stuff, good acting.

On the technical deparment the game runs flawless, no stuttering, no crashes, solid framerates even at Ultra settings on 2560x1440p resolution, granted my machine is overkill (5800x3D, 3090ti, 32gb RAM at 3600mhz) but with DLSS 2 and 3 being and option it has great perfomance for almost all configurations.

Very happy with this remake, I'm an avid fan and I was kinda worried, but its solid, manages to perfectly capture the spirit of the original and doesn't have unnecesary changes, great for veterans of the series and newcomers alike.

The new standard in videogames and the ultimate VR experience, Half-Life Alyx showed us that when a developer truly understand the medium they are working with, they can create an experience that evolves the medium itself.

VR games for many many years has been know as tech demos for the VR technology, showcasing the potential VR can bring to the table, but barely doing anything interesting with said technology, Valve managed to develop a game that not only its a main entry on the legendary Half-Life series, but manages to do it by using every trick the VR technology has to offer, this is not the case of an already exiting videogame getting the VR hands slapped together and done, its a videogame built with VR in mind through and through, from level design to narrative every single ounce in this game has been built with a VR headset in mind, the level of interactity that the VR tech has has been squeeze to their technical limits in this game, this is not /just/ a shooter, or a puzzle, its a fully developed AAA game, it not only pushes VR itself, showing us that VR can be used for more than tech demos or the most recent "Metaverse" push by Meta where is basically VRChat with less steps, this is an experience, it doesn't have gimmicks, it has systems and you will experience how deep this systems go.

I strongly believe this game marks a before and after in the industry of videogames, its a popular rumor that Valve won't develop Half Life 3 because they want their games to be impactful on the industry, from HL1 AI behaviour to HL2 source's physics, well, Half-Life: Alyx sure is impactful, and I cannot wait for what are they cooking up, be it VR exclusive or a more traditional experience I know Valve still has the secret sauce.

Wish it was finished because damn, so far its excellent.

I'm not gonna talk about perfomance, works pretty well on my machine, turns out the upscaling settings are borked and tank the game hard, I'm afraid this review is gonna get lost on a sea of bad perfomance reviews, but oh well.

There is not a single ounce of originality in this game, not a single strand of hair, not a single grain of rice about this game is unique.

Imagine if someone grabbed the formula for Dead Space and bonked its head with a hammer so SO hard little birdies started flying aroud the formula's head, full on looney toons.

This is the Callisto Protocol, a aggresively mediocre version of Dead Space, the gameplay its so on-rails its almost insulting to anybody that claims themselves a fan of the survival horror genre, if you spam A or D you are literally invincible, I'm not joking in the slightest, you can evade enemies ad infinitum, even if your back is to the wall, and you have TWO enemies on both sides...just spam A-D, amazing gameplay.

There is no enemy variety whatsoever, non, zero, always the same humanoid looking ahh, you may find the same humanoid on all fours that will eventually crawl on the floor or spits at you, but thats it, its just the same enemy for whatever lenght this game has.

Guns? 2 pistols, 2 shotguns, and one weapon I haven't unlocked yet, the differences are purely stat wise and the alt fire, thats it.

Levels? a never ending hallway with bright coloured ledges, peak level design ladies and gentlemens

I'm honestly impressed, they managed to dumb down every single aspect of the gameplay, while creating a boredom of a story, if this game were to be a Sony exclusive I wouldn't be surprised.

Ah yes, there are jumps scares too! but there are so predictible that any human being of 18+ years of age that its well developed and hasn't got any cognitive issues will see them coming from a mile away.

Stay the hell away from this if you like survival horrors game, go play Signalis instead of this.

El mejor boomer shooter desde Dusk, ni un fallo, una ejecucion perfecta, y lo ha creado una sola persona, acojonante.

Very cute and charming game, polished to some absurd degree with very cool details, core gameplay is fun.

If you are looking for a comfy 4 players co-op game or a death match game this is a solid choice.

Class B is basically the tutorial, the real game begins in A class.

Jesus christ this game is fast.
