Good game.

DayZ is game which had a very unpredictable release, was originally due september of last year, and finally released on the 16/12/13. I had played the mod for about nearly two years before release of the standalone, lets just say I hadn't played many other games over that period. I'd play nearly everyday for up to 10-12 hours, so I think you can get a good idea of how much I enjoyed it! Easily, my favourite game in my lifetime, and this (I hope) my new most played game on steam. I've played about 14 hours of this so far, and loved every bit of it, I'm getting the original feel I had of the DayZ Mod when I first started, it's not all about killing now, the old survival aspect is back. I still fear for my life from bandits, but I've socialised with alot of other survivors, asking for drink or food, or even stuck together and played for a while. The lack of weapons & resources makes dieing a real nuesance in this game, which is good, as it brings the fear aspect to DayZ. you don't want to throw your life and your gear away, only to have to get it all again. Although this is bad looting is still rather fun, espescially with friends and the people you meet along the way. To cut things short, buy this game. It will bring you hours of enjoyment, and maybe make you many new friends, like the Mod and the current Standalone have done for me so far.
