Bought this game years ago and couldnt run it because my computer was ♥♥♥♥. I recently got a new pc and i was excited to finally be able to play this game. (I started playing during the steam summer sale so there was an abundance of new players )I loaded it up and as soon as i joined a server i walked out onto the road in front of two other players who were in fact friendly and didnt kill me on sight. I later became friends with these people. At first there was just the three of us, but eventually we made new friends and met more people. Eventually our group had grown from 3 members to a clan of about 25, with about 5-10 people playing every day. It grew so big to the point where we had to stop letting in new people because our clan was taking up half the server. I remember following my new friends to their base hidden up on a hill. They told me about some of the features of the game, one of them being that you can only have 2 storage boxes per 1 plot sign, so we had to use vehicles as storage. This meant we had to find vehicles and drive them back to our base. After a long grind of about 25 hours we had collected nearly every vehicle in the server (2 yellow sedans, 1 apc, 1 18 wheeler truck, 2 orange utes, 2 boats and 1 quadbike). All of the sotrage in these carts was full to the brim with hundreds of rounds of ammunition, meds, snipers, assault rifles, everything you can imagine. And then my friend hit a car with a hammer and it blew up which caused all the others vehicles to blow up too, killing my friend in the process. We lost literally everything, so we made a new base somewhere else and started the grind again



Pros:
-made some friends
-dominated server
-autorun
-realistic gunplay
-easy to gear up quickly if you know the right spots
-cars go really fast

Cons:
-hackers here and there
-dupers here and there
-cars blow up when you hit them with hammer
-annoying camera shake when you let go of alt
-annoying building system
-only allowed 2 storage boxes
-bodies despawn super fast
-sometimes items fal through the gound when you drop them


Things i wish the devs would change:

-unlimited amount of storage boxes. Adding this would stop people from hoarding cars so others can actually drive them and use them how they were supposed to be used.

-more tents placeable in the world. You dont know how many times i've found and a tent and ran back to my base excited to place it down (yay more storage!) only for it to be unplaceable due to too many in the world.

-damage to vehicles

-make explosives and bullets do damage to bases

-make building easier (think rust?)

-clunky inventory system (switching backpacks/clothes take way too long)

-make items not fall through ground (i tried to drop a bandage for my friend and it fell through the ground and he died)



Good game, fun to play with friends 8/10 would play again if there wasnt any hackers
