Expands what is already a huge game

For a free game and one so massive, you can't really complain, grew up playing Classic but this I also enjoy

Man, playing Tempest Rising took me right back to the glory days of Command & Conquer. From the very first mission, it just feels right – the base building, the resource gathering, the unit micro… it’s all there. It’s like the devs actually remembered what made old-school RTS games so addictive and fun, and brought it into a modern setting without trying to reinvent the wheel too much.

The pacing is solid – not too fast, not too slow – and the combat has weight to it. There's actual strategy involved. You can’t just blob units and pray. Plus, the soundtrack and voice lines have that nostalgic vibe, without being cheesy. Big C&C energy all around.

If you grew up on Westwood Studios games or just miss that classic RTS formula, this one’s 100% worth a shot. It’s not trying to be an esports game or overly flashy – it’s just a good, honest RTS. And in 2025, that’s kinda rare.

A classic, that they really should do a remake of

Do not buy.

It's one of the worst things I've had the displeasure of playing, must have been thrown together in minutes, in about 20 minutes I had pretty much seen most of the content, after that you just rinse and repeat and the only real thing I discovered of any sort of "content" was buying higher tier equipment, awful game highly do not recommend!

I've been enjoying the game, big fan of most thing WH40k and this has been enjoyable, the game reminds me of the actual tabletop game in many ways.

A classic as simple as that, loved this game growing up and was loads of fun playing it again! :)

So far I've enjoyed it, the games free and with all free games there is an element in which you can P2W, but there's zero requirement to do that so just ignore it or support the game by paying into it choice is yours.

Also works on mobile cross play which is a nice bonus.
