I am veryyyyyy sad about how this game turned out. ill just start by saying the only improvement in my OPINION was the graphics. Everything else was lack luster to me, the new "score" for this game is trash, the original music in the game was sooo much better by a mile. This might be me nitpicking but the sound effects for finding clues, screams of the wendigo, the souls of the wendigos, and the gun shot sounds were terrible. The new totems were boring like no one asked for those to change anyway. Why do I have to hold a choice for 18 hours to pick it like that was frustrating, the fact you can't run while exploring is horrible. They took out a lot of the old camera shots which made the game feel really cinematic and it was in this horrible thirdperson perspective almost the whole time. Lord have mercy don't get me started when it comes to walking around like I would be holding a direction and that ♥♥♥♥♥ would go the opposite way like ._.
and just frame rate issues that literally caused me to fail a qte and I promise you I never quit to the main menu faster in my life. I have a few positives though. The main menu music was nice, the collectibles were cool I guess and the hunger totems were cool to see. Honestly if you want the full until dawn experience just play the ORIGINAL it was so much better.
