The game is cool, I'm going to keep playing it and I'm intrigued by its mysteries, BUT there are some very negative details that I think buyers should be aware of, which is why I'm leaving a negative review for the time being.

In particular: the graphical, control, and accessibility settings are unacceptable. This is a graphically simple game with a first person viewpoint built in Unity, there's no excuse for how barebones these settings are. I'm not complaining to complain either, because, despite being a person with thousands of hours across various first person titles, THIS GAME MAKES ME EXTREMELY MOTION SICK. The first time I played it for around half an hour, I had to stop because I was so queasy, and I threw up afterwards. It wasn't until I had a second go at it where it happened again that I realized I wasn't simply sick with a germ, but that the game was causing it--the thought hadn't crossed my mind because it's literally never been an issue for me.

The FOV slider goes from "0.0" to "12.0" which appears to be something like 78 to 90 degrees FOV; I get issues with less than 100 degrees. There's a lot of distortion near the sides of the screen, which admittedly is less-so with a lower FOV, but that has other issues.

The mouse sensitivity slider bottoms out at "way way too high", and because I do not want to adjust the DPI on my mouse whenever I boot the game up, I simply have to play on around 4x my normal sensitivity when I'm playing. This probably won't be an issue for most people, as I know most gamers will either play on controller or enjoy a higher sensitivity than I do, but this issue and the FOV slider both are OPTION THAT THE DEVS HAVE IMPLEMENTED which simply do not have an appropriately generous range enabled, for some reason.

By default, there's some awful mouse smoothing enabled which made everything feel much, much worse for me too, but thankfully that can simply be toggled (I would actually not be able to play this game otherwise, it's too unpleasant.)

Other accessibility options are simply not enabled at all, although I do not require any. If you're colorblind or have other issues with games which require features to circumvent, I would certainly steer clear until they fix these issues.

I have a very strong suspicion that this game was primarily developed and playtested by people playing it with a controller, sitting on a couch far away from the monitor. If that's your setup, perhaps you will have no issues.

Currently, my solution to playing this game is to run it in a tiny window in the center of my monitor (less than 720p on my 1080p monitor), with a piece of tape in the center of my screen to draw my eye more than the very faint cursor the game features by default (another technique which helps with motion sickness). I like the game enough to keep playing it, since I really enjoy solving puzzles with my partner, but this state of affairs is frankly unacceptable in 2025, especially for a game built using a popular game engine with an untold amount of tooling and development resources available.

Only get this game if you're going to play 300+ hours of ranked or local vs.

It's dark patterns all the way down y'all. We got the cash shop. we got a battlepass on a $70 dollar game (that the $30 season pass doesn't include??) full of crappy cosmetics that were free in tekken 7. The battle pass costs $6 of coins but you can only buy $5 or $10. We got a dlc character that's not available to lab unless you pay, even in replay mode apparently, and they won't even tell us how much he'll cost because you can only get him currently if you pay for the $40 deluxe edition (3 day early access woo! won't be surprised if they end up charging like $15 for him too. if that's the case, he might genuinely be the only DLC or microtransaction I'm willing to pay for, despite the fact that I love this game and I want to play it for a long time). I paid more for this game than I EVER have for a fighting game for launch, and they're out here gunning for the rest of my damn wallet less than two months later. None of this is even getting into the balance and game direction concerns that every serious legacy player seems to have right now. This is my first tekken, but even I can tell the game would be better if it was a little less ham with its powerlevel and amount of forced 50/50s; I love this game, but the biggest feeling I'm having after nearly 200 hours myself is that I'm sad I missed the boat on Tekken 7. Bamco bad.

Plays like the binding of isaac but made in game maker by an amateur in 20 hours.

I just want to point out that the developers of this game recently added an infinite math dungeon with no end and no reward which me my friends did a hundred floors of for absolutely no reason.

(The rest of the game is good too. Fun combat, cute art, funny humor, cool story, amazing bossfights. But really, if you're not here for the infinite math dungeon, why even live?)

It's not good, and it's especially not good for the price.

Easily my favorite addition to the up and coming battle royale genre. If you like battlerite, you'll probably like this. There's some rng involved like with any battle royale game, but the time to kill is way higher than the likes of PUBG or Fork-knife, so you're less likely to feel like you just got slammed out of nowhere. With some careful picking of battles and skill at the core gameplay, you can consistently get into some really fun and intense situations in the late game. I saw some reviews where people were complaining about dying before getting all their abilities, but I've only died once or twice that way before getting to a good amount of loot. The map is big enough to get a good amount of loot to yourself and your teammate early on if you drop smartly, so you can get equipped to win a skirmish with some solid play and go from there. Fun game, highly recommend.

Excellent RTS game. Encapsulates all the best parts of the genre while also being much shorter, somewhat less stressful, and infinitely easier to pick up. HIghly recommend.
