Dragons Dogma 2 is a mesmerizing journey through a fantastical world brimming with danger, mystery, and the allure of epic quests. While some elements might appear slightly dated, the game's overall charm and depth far outweigh any minor shortcomings.

From the moment I stepped into the shoes of my customizable character, I was immersed in a rich narrative that kept me engaged throughout. The world of Dragons Dogma 2 is expansive and filled with intricate details, from bustling towns to eerie dungeons teeming with monsters. The sense of exploration is palpable, with every corner promising new discoveries and adventures.

Combat in Dragons Dogma 2 is where the game truly shines. The action is fast-paced, strategic, and incredibly satisfying. Whether facing off against towering beasts or engaging in intense battles with otherworldly creatures, every encounter feels like a test of skill and cunning. The ability to climb onto enemies adds a unique dynamic to combat, allowing for thrilling moments of aerial combat and strategic positioning.

However, it's worth noting that some aspects of Dragons Dogma 2 may feel a tad outdated compared to more modern titles. Graphically, the game doesn't quite reach the heights of some of its contemporaries, and certain gameplay mechanics might feel a bit clunky at times. Yet, these minor flaws pale in comparison to the game's strengths.

One of the standout features of Dragons Dogma 2 is its innovative Pawn system, which allows players to recruit customizable AI companions to aid them on their journey. The depth of customization and the strategic elements involved in managing your party make for a truly immersive experience.

Dragons Dogma 2 may have a few rough edges, but its captivating world, engaging combat, and innovative gameplay make it an absolute gem for fans of action RPGs. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or new to the genre, this game is sure to provide hours of thrilling entertainment.

Helldivers 2 takes the explosive chaos of the original game and cranks it up a notch, delivering a mixed experience that will either leave you exhilarated or frustrated, depending on your taste for relentless cooperative challenges.

Pros:

1. **Intense Cooperative Gameplay:** Helldivers 2 retains the essence of its predecessor with intense, cooperative gameplay. Teamwork is key as you and your fellow divers drop onto procedurally generated planets, battling hordes of enemies and completing dynamic objectives.

2. **Expanded Arsenal:** The game introduces a plethora of new weapons and gear, adding depth to the customization options. The diverse loadouts allow for varied strategies, making every mission feel fresh.

3. **Stunning Visuals:** Helldivers 2 boasts impressive visuals, with vibrant planets, detailed character models, and explosive special effects. The game's graphics contribute to the chaotic atmosphere, enhancing the overall experience.

Cons:

1. **Steep Learning Curve:** For newcomers, the learning curve can be unforgiving. The game throws players into the thick of battle without much handholding, and mastering the controls and strategies can be a daunting task. This might deter casual gamers looking for a more accessible experience.

2. **Repetitive Mission Structure:** While the dynamic objectives aim to keep things interesting, the overall mission structure can feel repetitive after a while. The cycle of drop, complete objectives, extract, and repeat may become monotonous for some players.

3. **Connection Issues:** Helldivers 2 heavily relies on smooth online connectivity, and unfortunately, some players have reported issues with connection stability. This can lead to frustrating moments, especially when teamwork is crucial, and disconnects can ruin the experience.

Conclusion:

Helldivers 2 builds upon the foundation of its predecessor, offering a visually stunning and intense cooperative experience. However, the steep learning curve and repetitive mission structure might be barriers for some players. If you can overcome these hurdles and thrive on chaotic teamwork, Helldivers 2 has the potential to provide hours of galactic mayhem. However, for those seeking a more accessible or varied gameplay experience, the journey through the cosmos might be a bit too rough.

As a longtime Dungeons & Dragons fan, I can confidently say that Baldur's Gate 3 is an absolute masterpiece that has exceeded all my expectations. Larian Studios has truly outdone themselves in bringing the magic of the tabletop experience to the digital realm.

From the moment I delved into the rich and immersive world of Baldur's Gate 3, I was hooked. The attention to detail in recreating the Forgotten Realms is simply breathtaking. The landscapes, characters, and lore are all meticulously crafted, staying true to the essence of the iconic D&D universe.

What sets Baldur's Gate 3 apart is the impeccable storytelling and the seamless integration of the fifth edition ruleset. The narrative is compelling, filled with twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat. The choices you make truly matter, affecting not only your own character but the entire trajectory of the game.

Larian Studios has managed to strike the perfect balance between staying faithful to D&D mechanics and adapting them for a video game experience. The character creation system is robust and flexible, allowing for a wide range of playstyles. The inclusion of the iconic classes and races, along with the depth of character customization, adds a layer of authenticity that will resonate with any Dungeons & Dragons enthusiast.

The attention to detail in the turn-based combat system is praiseworthy. It captures the strategic essence of tabletop battles while offering a dynamic and visually stunning experience. The synergy between character abilities, environmental factors, and enemy AI creates a challenging yet rewarding gameplay experience.

I also want to commend the developers for their dedication to community feedback. The frequent updates and patches demonstrate a commitment to refining and improving the game based on player input. It's evident that Larian Studios values its community, and this level of engagement only enhances the overall gaming experience.

Baldur's Gate 3 is a love letter to D&D fans, a testament to Larian Studios' passion for the source material, and a shining example of what can be achieved when a developer truly understands and respects its audience.

What a strange and alluring game. I love the true sandbox feel and I thoroughly enjoy exploring this strange apocalyptic world. That being said It feels unfinished. This game has so much "potential" and delivers those moments only in minute increments. This is still a nostalgic and addictive game. What it lacks is some sort of accomplishment or reward for players who survive and change the surrounding world. Hopefully, the die-hard modders can add the content this game desperately lacks.
I recommend this game solely on its challenge and strange environments. This is something that should be experienced and I appreciate the love the developer put into it.

Pros:
Doesn't hold your hand
Large map
Tough and rewarding survival
interesting environments
Large parties
Multiple factions
Freedom
Modder friendly

Cons:
Very buggy
No reward for accomplishments
Overly complex UI
No attachment to the lore of the world
Old engine

Note: I have only played this game utilizing the HTC Vive VR Headset.
If you want an in-depth space simulator while waiting for the Star Citizen (Please don't waste my money) then hop on Elite Dangerous!
Great community, Adaptively molds to your play style and just an amazing game. I love how you can go from intense space combat to just relaxing and enjoying some data missions. The VR aspect is so wonderfully immersive you'll lose track of time.

A relaxing, creative and fun game. I wish we could have a Spore 2. I love watching my son play this and we both enjoy comparing our creations.

Lack luster single player content which was further destroyed by Take Two interactive. Banning mods and isloating a community is a poor way to increase your profits.

I've been a long time fan of the Deus-Ex series. I've always enjoyed the deep stories and open eneded choices. Mankind Divded falls short on many of series staple accomplishments. The short gameplay and lack luster story make the game feel more like a small chapater than a AAA title.
The microtransactions for Praxis kits and credits is a blatent spit in the face to the series and players.
That being said the enviroments are visually appealing. The NPC AI is pretty interesting and can make for some fun random moments. The story itself is a bit off and while i enjoy how they blend in current events it still seems to be missing that creative spark.
I am also one of the unfortunate few who have been experiencing the game breaking crashes. I am unable to actually complete a large amount of side quests due to the inability to travel to the mission locations.
If you're looking for a visually funs story based FPS then this game is for you. What it lacks in depth and story it mkaes up for in exploration and intuitive augments. If you came here looking for that rich Deus Ex experience you might end up disappoited.
