Great game and kudos to the dev team for trying their best

Didn't know the funny robot toy would attract monsters.

Killed the original game by starving it of content for 3 years and promising that they were putting the resources into a new game they knew ahead of time that could not be made and yet still advertised it.

Somehow Paladins, a similar hero shooter made by a smaller company, unironically has a better way of earning premium currency and better character customisation

Gameplay itself is still fine so long as the balancing team doesn't decide to anything stupid... oh...

Atmosphere and sounds are top notch. No jumpscares, just pure dread and horror. Also I wanna cry after the ending.

Great core gameplay loop with tons of replayabilitiy. Devs stick to their roadmap and deliver on time with reasonably priced dlcs for extra characters + weapons

There's just nothing like it

Gameplay loop is what you'd expect from this genre: Cook, Prep, Serve, ... then serve the customer for other customers.
Finding new recipes by experimenting with ingredients is a nice added depth to the game.
The twist of poisoning customers and using them as fresh ingredients also adds an extra challenge for resource management and layout planning since there are penalties for getting spotted with a corpse in your restaurant.
Summoning your own staff is what makes this game more viable if you're really into this genre, as you can record your actions and the bots will follow every input (including any small mistakes you do) and repeat those actions, essentially acting as the automation for this game.


There's no online co-op so if you're like me and didn't read the tags before buying just a heads up but this can be easily remedied by steam's play-together function.
The game could use some QOL improvements like removing the interacted items of your summon you just banished; as well as a more in-depth tutorial for what the summons can do.

Overall though worth the full price if you're into this genre and a relaxing game to play if you've got an itch for a cooking management solo game. Try the demo and see if it's your cup of tea

Is actually fun now.
Would still wait for a sale since it is an online only experience and imo $50 is a bit steep for that.
Hands down one of the best horde-shooters out there though

11/10 made me bring out my best Gordon Ramsay impersonation and yell at my closest friends for not picking up a dirty plate
