Great ambiance and theme. Good gameplay with varied mechanics and some original ones. Good music and *very* satisfying chunky combat. AWESOME.

Despite all the doubts about this project, it has turned out to be a really good game.
On its own is a great modern survival horror game and as a remake it has done an amazing job of keeping the overall tone and key parts of the original game, while creating a whole new game to be experienced.

Could be a little longer, more polished and less cryptic at some times.
But still, a very enjoyable and fun experience.
Even if it looks like a pixelated Resident Evil, and the inspiration from the franchise is more than clear, manages to be very original with its approach and achieves being interesting on its own right.
The gameplay is survival horror at its core, but instead of going hardcore and formulaic, bring some roguelite elements that make it very unique.

A must play and a real hidden treat for fans of the genre.
