An amazing and expansive game that does more than I expected.

It’s Skyrim in space with guns in the best possible away. If you like that style of Bethesda action RPG I recommend it.

It’s not perfect, and has many of the issues you’d expect from a Bethesda game, although fewer than I expected.

It’s also not trying to be a new No Man’s Sky in scale and space flight mechanics, nor is it Mass Effect with a focused story. Again, it’s Skyrim in space.

I've put in over 400 hours and I keep coming back for more. Great team play with procedural levels that don't repeat, surprisingly friendly community that welcomes "greenbeard" newbie players, and constant free content updated. Rock and Stone in the Heart!

While initially leery of a Left 4 Dead clone withe card system, the cards are shockingly non-random in design and use, making it essentially a Build-Your-Own class system, which I love.

While I found the "original" Shadowrun Returns fun, the Dragonfall DLC counts among the better RPGs I've played. This new stand-alone version makes further improvements, adds in new runs, and new endings. It's been a lot of fun to play.

If you haven't played any of the Shadowrun Returns series, skip the original and go directly to Dragonfall Director's Cut.
