The game is buggy as ♥♥♥♥. The devs are trying really hard to fix up the game, but the biggest problems in the game are the difficulty ramps. This is so freaking grindy it's impossible to just enjoy the game with your friends, you literally have to have no job, and put so many hours into this. On top of that, it's a one path deal, if you didn't put the research in ahead of time, your build is screwed and you can't do anything to fix it until next season.

The boss battles at the time of writing this are also broken completely. The lag is unbearable, you can't even switch weapons, it just glitches and you end up throwing grenades or swinging your melee weapon instead of firing the gun you just clearly pulled out. It's insane. Oh, and fun fact, if someone uses up all the build slots on the boss zone, nobody can do anything there anymore, the zone is literally screwed because the ungodly material heavy turrets YOU HAVE TO HAVE in order to even fight the boss at all, can't be placed. Forget the cost of the missiles too. If you're not in a group, this game is not playable. You will not be enjoying it. :\ It's really sad, it had so much potential, but every boss is just a repeat, every quest seems just another generic copy paste.

Now, i can't just crap on it all day, it does have some fun aspects. Building is great, one of the nicer systems out there. You can hunt for blueprints for items and things, you have lots of opportunity to explore for a good while. The world construction itself is amazingly well done, thorough, and they don't invisible wall you that often, if ever. If you don't mind it taking forever, the gun/gear upgrading is really in depth, you can do a lot, mix and match a lot. It's some of the best in that aspect, just be prepared to waste your life away with Gotcha style RNG and terrible repetitive grinds on some of the worst boss fights I've ever experienced in my gaming life. ugh... 3/10 game, 9/10 weapons and ascetic.

They had better add more in the next season though. Otherwise, we've already seen the whole game. Enemies are a bit samey too sometimes.

This is the best game of 2023 in my opinion. I fills every need, all the action, and all of the story you'll ever want. Every path you take can be muddled with and changed however you see fit, and you live with your choices in that path. Personally I'm not for turn based games, but if I manage to find a mod someday that updates it to real-time combat, I think this would be even better. Right now honestly I'm stuck in indecision mode, and I am constantly reloading because I can't get things quite the way I want them, which is a flaw of my own, not the game, I acknowledge that. The character creator is good(not incredible), but the story, character relations, and shear number of things you can twist up make this an endlessly repeatable game. I think you'll be hard pressed to find someone who can't enjoy it. Best part, no micro-transactions, no overpriced DLC, no garbage accounts or money grubbing company. It's flawless, and I cannot wait to see what they do next.

I'm upset I'm not seeing any real way to add much content to this system. There's like... 15 components, you can't add something as simple as an 8080 processor, or any other micro-controllers besides an Arduino. There's nothing for "Physics"(Motors, Steppers, Effectors or Visual "mechanical" outputs) or basic sensors(IR, Microphone, etc..). I thought this was further through the development line, but it's incredibly basic. Good for kids, but I'm not sure how useful this will be above a middle school education level. The scene navigation is pretty good, but feels a bit, sticky idk. Other than that, they have a great start down, don't get me wrong. It's worth a good 5 bucks, but I expect more if it's going to be worth more in the future.

That said, personally I don't think this will be super useful until they add Workshop support and give people the ability to add chips/mechanics of their own creation(ideally with some code in the backend ourselves that emulate other chiplets or functions). Until then, this is purely a toy for some fun here and there.

This is too addictive. I warn you. Don't play it. You're going to waste so many hours doing nothing. Oh god why is this, this good???

Beat the game in a weekend. Good bit to explore. Hopefully they release an update/dlc that lets you take the opposite approach. Where you invade, placing bases and setting "units" that the structures will produce.
It's a bit short, <20 hours of actual gameplay. But worth the price I think. Definitely a dopamine hit.

Great game, needs more content, but the Dev's clearly care about this game. So I know they are going to do what they can to make this game more amazing.

This is an absolute masterpiece remake of the original 3 games. I love it, and can't praise it enough. They kept the controls tight, the maps are perfect replicas and the detailed character designs are perfect to the charm and original style of the game. The new soundtrack is likewise amazing!! This is the Spyro I grew up with and loved.

This game is setting new standards for VR experience and controls. The new Valve Index integration in this game is stunning and will make you realize just how much potential VR has. I truely hope Valve moves forward with the half life series and tries to go even further with the VR development. The games beautiful, fun, and will make you lose track of time exploring, specially after you've beaten it. Mods add endless possibilities.

I am extremely upset with this game. They have everything hard coded. you can't change controls, the textures and quality of everything is still the same. The Engine is just as terrible, it doesn't look like they put any effort into this. It's COMPLETELY unusable without modding the ever loving ♥♥♥♥ out of it, and even then it's unberrably hard to use. Anything other than the Vive will not work on this(even then, again, no control customization). You have been warned. I can't even refund it because I spent so much time trying to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fix this thing that I went over the limit to refund it.
