Edit of 13/12/24 they have brought there first DLC out which in my opinion is a little too soon seeing as yes they have sorted some bugs in the game but still not the major bugs, which is frustrating. Whats worse the DLC is only 5 rides and its £8 not free for those who paid for the deluxe edition?! We love your game but please make it fair for those who really want to support you.


I brought the Pre-ordered deluxe edition at £54.99 as I am huge fan of Frontiers Planet Coaster 1 and Planet Zoo, so of course had to buy it.

First of all they listened to the players of wanting a Water Park (as sadly didn't get one in PC 1) Which is a dream come true! You can build your own pool with different depths, add your own flumes and Lazy River. Lots of scenery pieces ( and blueprints to place) to choose from with themes of PC, Mythology, Resort, Viking and Aquatic, with 5 new Mascot Entertainers. You can now add scenery pieces onto the rides whether it be flat rides or coasters. Also you can now share your saved park to other people let them add things in and send back to you. They have a dedicated workshop in game now to upload, download. They have also added electric requirement and Water filtration too (you can turn it off on sandbox mode)

Visually the graphics are beautifully improved the PC 1, navigation is slightly different but once you know how its a lot easier I think. The only problem i'm having is the management with staff i'm finding difficult never was great at it on the first game so i'm finding it more challenging. As so far not found a tutorial on it. There are some bugs at present (20/11/24) which is a little frustrating, but I've seen from the patches some are being fixed or onto fixing. (However didn't expect this many, as there are more than PC 1)

Is it worth the full price plus Pre-order at the moment no but i'm in trust of frontier to fixing the bugs which is letting it down. Once the major bugs have gone then deffo worth full price.

However, I recommend it 100% if your a fan of the previous game, want improve graphics more customisation, and detail management and want pools (as it is focused a fair bit) and a overall fun game.

This game is very fun to do with friends or on matchmaking. There are a lot of killers and survivors to choose from which you can get from earning xp in game, or quicker method by buying in game store (that can be cheaper) or through steam (more expensive but get more cosmetics etc). The graphics are pretty good for when it came out.

The only downside is when wanting to be the killer it takes a while for a match to happen i've waited 20 mins + for a match on occasions. (Online play and event play) you can play with bots if you don't want to wait but you don't get event items etc.

Edit: Now and again they do a fun 2v8 mode where there is 2 killers really fun wish it was a perminant thing as que times are 30 mins +

I have the free downloadable version not base game
Positives:
+Game runs smoothly
+Simple to navigate on the board
+Visually Appealing the board
+Level up system to gain free items
+Can play up to 3 random people (not tried it with friends) or with bot

Negatives:
-Cannot use in game chat unless you have purchases the base game, which makes trading extremely annoying
- Need to buy the 'base game' plus expansions
- Tournaments cant do for free need base game I think

Positives:
-Runs Smoothly
-Graphics Quality on Animals, Objects.
-Fun easy navigation
-Easy Driving Mechanic, no damage on vehicles (normally would care about something like this but up keeping the ranch etc might be difficult at start of game )
-Multiplayer (very useful!)
-Side Quests to get extra money!
-Building is fun!

Negatives:
-Landscape, plants, town buildings are quite plain looking not as detailed as hoped it be.
- The games Glossary (how to basic) could do with updating with more details on how to use the equipment ect or maybe do a level up system to unlock certain animals, equipment etc.
-From what I played so far not much variety wildlife to hunt
-No inventory system

I brought this game after watching DeLadysigner run through series which she is currently doing on Youtube (recommended for tips!).

This game deserves to be played, yes it needs optimisation, but it is so much better that Evolved, the building mechanics I adore and the updated look on items etc is much improved.

Great game! I prefer playing it with friends but can be done solo just as good.

Its a great game can't wait to see what they be adding in future if they do.
Requires a good memory, strategy and organisation skills, if you don't have that its not the game for you.

Great game for solo and groups adventures who are looking for a DND inspired fantasy game.

Great fun for friends and family :)

So much detail and thought has gone behind this game. So much different to your classic other zoo games this requires more attention to the animal needs and staff as well as guests, non stop focus, there is always something to do in your park.
