I honestly don't get why people hate this game simply because it's "too hard to grind" or "too expensive" when wanting to skip the grind. This game makes you farm yes, but it does not take a considerable amount of time to farm for the things you want. Additionally, the game doesn't make you feel too weak at the early stages that you need to think about rushing to farm for stronger items. The story is boring though that I agree with, but I don't really care about the story and want to just kill things anyway.

Tl;dr. The game is fine as it is. Probably not for those with weak willpower. If you've played Warframe since early alpha, then this game would be a breeze for you.

Melinoe is hot af. 10/10 would play just to stare at her. WOOF WOOF!

Actually a great game, did most of the straightforward endings for most of the characters. I laughed a lot and I'm hoping for ENG subtitles for the DLC and possibly more future content.

To start off, I've been playing this game since late 2013 and to see the game now, it changed a hell of a lot; like all other games. Blacklight Retribution for me is the most competitive FPS game I've committed myself into. With a huge array of weapon modifications to endless servers being hosted-and that's another thing I'd like to talk about...

•THE SERVERS
Before the game got handed off to a different company(Correct me if I'm wrong) The game gave a chance for players to host their own servers along with custom rules and regulations (such as increased run speed and a certain health cap.) It also gave Clans(Like CFew and FAng) a chance to host their own servers and "melee" servers. After the game received an overhaul, players still had the chance to create their own servers but without custom options thus killing "clan" servers.

•THE MECHANICS
BLR still retained the same gaming mechanics before and after the huge overhaul such as the same game modes. TDM's, DM's, etc. Teamwork with the community works really well with the fact that most BLR players would often use voice chat.

•OVERALL
Blacklight Retribution still has that decent amount of graphics and gameplay that despite certain drawbacks it still has that same "competitive-ness" as before the huge overhaul. For veterans and new players coming in this FPS game is for any gamer looking for competitive play. From excellent teamwork and strategizing the battlefield, competition will surely strengthen.

One thing's for sure. This game ain't "Broken" unlike DayZ. H1Z1 has a story going on, it's literally YOUR story as a player on the line, kinda reminds me of Walking Dead. Tho, this one, you're making your own story, go to a city? Get a car? Make friends or become a bandit? Your choice, there are endless possibilities, heck you can even just build your own base and call it home. Or go rogue and treat every plot of land as home. Bugs are present but hey, it's still "Perfect-Ish" for an Early Access game.

This game has a very high potential. It's problems are the endless impossibility to hack hunters for they shoot so accurately, and endless time spent on finding a hack gun, and a bug that makes a harvester disappear forever.
So far, this game is good, details and graphics are good for an early access game. Looking forward to the future of The Fifth Day.
