This is my favourite potion game, and my favourite shop game, together in one.

Original review
I wanted to wait till I played more but this game is just so much fun, all the mechanics blend so well together.
This game might also have my favourite equipment crafting, ever. You have blueprints which require resource categories. Some might need more ore, others more wood, leather, fibre, etc. So you then choose which type of leather you have gathered, do I want leather from creature A or creature B, the stats will be affected but also the appearance! Changing the metal you craft a bit of gear from will give it that visual on all the metal bits!! This is such, I- aaaaaaaa. I have never been so motivated to go out and find rare materials to use!

Also the environments are STUNNING in art style, the combat is so unique, I love swapping between martial and magic. This is everything I have been craving in a game for YEARS. The characters have a good first impression and I love their designs. I could go on but I'm going to go back to play more of it instead.

I was fighting a dragon during extremely cold weather, and I was using it's fire breath to keep myself warm and avoid taking freezing damage from the environment. This is rapidly becoming one of my favourite games.

Update
I have now 100% this game and loved every minute of it. I'm going to take a break but I'll be back to find as many yellow bricks as I can once there is an easier way to track them.

The story and characters are at the start is nice, but slow. By the time you unlock the 5th map, the story has gotten really interesting and I was talking to everyone constantly to get updates and chase down every quest line.
One of the companion quests made me tear up at the end, and there was clearly so much love put into that one too.

This has been the most fun I have had playing a video game for the least few years. Thank you to everyone who worked on this.

This game has such a great feel to it, and the swapping between exploration (catching) and management (serving) is a lot of fun

My wrist already hurts, this game needs alternatives to real in a fish other than rapid clicking.

Off the cuff suggestions that still keep it simple
- Speed: rapid clicking (current)
- Precision: move your mouse or arrow keys to avoid obstacles or fit within a valley
- Timing: something like that classic block stacking arcade game

As it is, I physically can't play this game no matter how much I want to.

Paradox went from beacon of fun to my publisher blacklist with this. I'd play the original but that also doesn't run well on my PC anymore from all the bloat.

I love the little drone you get when playing solo and the ability to switch between past seasons so you don't miss out on anything if you start playing now.

This game plays like a cookie clicker exploration and crafting game. It's painful at the start, but the rate of progression is an amazing teacher.
