Its an amazing game. Honestly its ruining my life a little, i sleep very little and am neglicting other stuff i should be doing in favor of playing more. Its one of those games that hours can pass in a blink of an eye.

Classic worms never gets old

The game is unplayable without messing around with the files, augmenting the executable, and launching it with params. Even after all that and with all the fixs online it still crashes a lot and is a buggy mess. My save almost got bricked once because of a loading bug. I wouldnt have bothered going through all the trouble if i knew about it before. Besides that, the game definitely shows its time but the story is engaging and i probably would have recommended it if not for the former problems.

if you do want to go through all the trouble anyways heres a couple of solutions that were not as easy to find.
First youl need

1. If the launcher crashes when it trys to configure your game for the first time you need to create a file in "Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age" called systeminformation.xml
2. If your launcher still crashes when pressing play. there are a couple of solutions one is to edit the params on program launch. This solution did not work for me but its available online. What worked for me is using the Vortex mod launcher. You'll need this mod (Frosty's Updated Dao.exe for steam) ( https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/5368 ) first. Then when on the Dashboard there instead of pressing the play press the 3 small dots and go to edit if your SteamAPPId is not 47810 change it to that then save and try and launch the game from there it may take a couple of tries or a restart for it to start working but once it does it works every time.
3. If you try to load your save in Denerim and it crashes, then try loading a different save in a different location first then load the one in Denerim
4. Besides that if your having graphical issues and more crashes there is a post in the community that is supposed to help.

You can tell that its not ready for release because the balancing is a bit off but its so much fun to create synegetic builds even now.
I picked it up and played it for 8 hours on my first sitting. Its got that isaac feel of one more game and a similar unlock system (or so i think) but you have more controll over the build and can come up with crazy combos.

for example i just finished a run on the silent where i went full cycle shiv build. id get armor for every card i played and most of my cards were 0 cost cycle or shivs so i just kept going untill i hit my combo finisher that would do around 250 damage by the end it was great.

You dont need to know rocket science but it sure will help if you do...
picked it up and decided to try and play without tutorials.

in 8 hours i managed to orbit kerbin and make a functioning plane.
the only reason i haven't gotten to mon yet is because i was focusing on finishing the missions before that (Testing the "hammer" took a while).

Well worth the money i can see myself playing this game for over 100hours before getting board

Keep coming back to play this game, its amazing how simple it looks but how complex it can get.
The first 3 tiers of armor are deceiving, you think its rather simple and pretty familiar but very soon after that !@#$ starts hitting the fan. You start encountering bosses and exploring more and the whole world changes.

I bought this game when it released and played every content patch since. I can safely say, it is one of the best Steam purchases iv ever done.
