Hunt Showdown is one of the greatest games of all time and i thoroughly love it.

Hunt Showdown 1896 on the other hand has been an enormously disappointing update.

Worse frame rates, more issues trading kills with other hunters, weapon balancing decisions that boggle the mind, Ruining core mechanics of the game in order to accommodate the new map, The shooting range is still useless for actual practice, The single worst UI i have ever seen in a video game. The core gameplay underneath all of this is still phenomenal but the state of this update has me yearning for the game we used to have. The onboarding experience for hunt is also completely miserable for new players and this patch has actively made that worse.

Future patches could absolutely bring this game back but i genuinely cannot recommend it to new players in its current state.

A Rollercoaster of feels best game ever made. games can from now on only be referred to as games made before Narcissu and games made after Narcissu. truly revolutionary this game should change the gaming industry forever
