This game had a combination of factors I loved in this game and a few key set backs. Learning as you go is a good machanic it lead where you needed to go most of the time if you were paying attention. this is by following spirits or running away from them, or flat out dumbluck. Scenes were just difficult which lead to death a ridiculous amount of times. This being dodging giant spirits.
The sound was great, the artwork was beautiful (as in how everything looked) so, scary works too, the sound effects gave some nice hints on if you were being attacked.
(some system to help you stay on track or where to go would be nice.)

This game was longer than I expected- in a good way. Night in the Woods has taken me through huge mental adventure of which I found hard to seperate myself from. This is one of only few games I EVER played that kept me completely aroused through the whole game (get your minds out the gutter- refering to being mentally stimulated.) For 2D graphics it was top knotch with scenery and characters- lovely art style. The story is huge and I'm pretty sure had alot more depth. Character development and growth was exponentially the greatest aspect of this game. The only Con about this game was trying to learn controls took me a few minutes just to find the settings and how to even enter it the fastest solution- use a controller.
