I have bought and followed We Happy few through all of its development cycle so far. There are many things I would do diffrently if I was in the devs shoes. For example make the price point 25 maybe even 30 dollars for the games opening price or not put it on early acesss in 2016. That aside, this is a brilliant game besides it shortcomings mechanic wise.

YES there are mutliple glitches and at times absured graphic demands, however where this game shines is the story and characters. I was very fond of Auther and i alwasy wanted to know more about Percy. With the full game realse I finally see how well Auther's past efects him now 14 years later. The integration of openworld exporation to quest that require you to go through linear levels in order to complete them. This may seem boring but the game does a good job in provinding notes important to lore and or flashbacks the more you do quest. If you are not into that sort of thing then its understandable, but for my case I was so caught up in finding out the history of Joy and what the Germans really did back in 1947-1954.

Another thing to look at in this game is the way it runs. My computer has componets that are 5 years old. The oldeset thing being a gigbyte motherboard and the youngest being a 1060GTX 6gb. I had to set everything to medium for what they call "standard FPS experience" marked at 22-40 frames when I was getting about 50-60 with some occasional drops to 40. But not one time did I have a crash. You can make fun of the ♥♥♥♥ frame rates but If I have a game that crashes every minute I just wont play it. (I get it not every rig is the same sorry if you are one of those players)

My final verdict: It met my orginal expectations. It never really exeded them but it made use of what it was good at.

This game is a trip. Just when you think it cant get any crazier, the game takes it up to an entriely new level.
The story is a great continuation from the first game however my problem lies with the gunplay. If you've ever played the new order you know what its like to play tank. In the beggining of this game you are not. The slightest blow from a basic solider can kill you if your not carefull. The begining game is all about stealth/armor and trying to compensate for your 50% health in your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ body. That is to say that your not playing on the hardest difficulty in which case good luck trying to pass a level you masochist. I know for some of the fights i had to bump it down to "bring em on" or "dont hurt me" (Promise im not a noob the game is just genuinely hard)
If you do a level long enough it just feels like hotline miami dying and trying something new over and over again. so dont be discouraged to bumb the difficulty down if you need too. Plus about a 1/3 of the way through the game something happens and you get back up to 100% health and 100% armor.
However......
That being said its an amazing ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. Bethesda sure knows how to make a story come full circle. Along with the nazi killing, William shows just how much of a philosipher he really his. Dating back to his childhood we see the events and the people who make William what he is today. That, I belive, is the most important part of the story. So my final virdict?
10/10
