I really loved the orginal game, it´s still my one of my favorite rpg to this day. Now then to this demo, first off the intro gave me good impression it was about same as the orginal with addition of prologue part which explains how you end in water, this where i start have issue with this. For me main charter was more of silent and mysterious kind of guy, not this babbling idiot who says allright every 5 minutes (he does not need to talk, only when you talk to someone or there is a reason to). Also his voice isn´t as good as orginal one, he needs more rough sound, not a pipsqueek whiney voice.

Second big issue is the graphics, it´s all flashy and everything is filled with GFX like fire effect and it looks all plastic like. Game lagged for me a lot and i think it´s the cheer amount of effects you put on game, but does it need all the effects. Take look at modern games like Kingdom Come: Deliverence, they don´t put shiny effects on things and the game looks amazing. Keep what made orginal game good, make it darker and less shiny and make the areas more similar to the orginal, i got confused because the intro area was too different from orginal , if i play remake i would assume there is a similar setting to the orginal so hardcore fan like me can navigate it from back of the mind.

So Developers, i suggest you go play orginal game trough couple more times take notes on charter and general mood of game. remove all the flashy stuff. Or optional choice don´t make a remake because you want to cash in on it, as a fan what i see now is a insult to orginal master piece. I feel you taken away all that made orginal so good, yes combat might have been flunky but still it made orginal game fun. Sorry if my critique is harsh, but when i saw the remake appear i was really excitred it was a thing happening, but now i am pissed because it was a buring hot carbage that didn´t have anything that made orginal good.
