There is no conceivable way to win a Mortal Empires Markus Wulfhart campaign. I am so frustrated at the fact that I wasted my money on this DLC. EVERY SINGLE CAMPAIGN I have tried to play ends in getting war declared on you by literally every angle. The Itza and Sentinel Lizardmen from the South and West will attack early, but even earlier from that direction you will be attacked by Nakai the Wanderer. To the North, a combination of Orcs, Cylostra Direfin, and Lord Mazdamundi will inevitably war amongst themselves, and then all declare war on you. To the East you have more Lizardmen and Undead.

I have tried to play this campaign multiple times, trying different early game strats each go through. Every single time I have been surrounded.

WHAT THE HECK??? DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON THIS!

EDIT: Disregard the all caps directly above this. Let me copy paste how I finally was able to have a successful ME campaign from a comment i made earlier.

Ended up getting a solid campaign going on turn 10. There is only one way to do it. You must go Tlanxla first (leaving capital for last), then shoot west to the unoccupied areas, after defeating Nakai around turn 3-5 at the southern tip of the initial province. NEVER get involved with the north Orc/Cylostra/etc area. Then you slowly work your way down.
