Played this in ps4. PVP has a lot of cheaters, trollers, tryhards or abusers.
Because of that everyone plays pve only and mostly in offline mode.
If you dont have friends to play this with, dont.
If you like to play solo games, then do.
Go watch youtube on how to mod the game (Not for cheating) but you can add different characters from other franchises, unique skills, costumes and maps.

The game offers multiple classes and you can get all of them with no paywall. Getting loot is grindy and your going to have to do quite a lot of gameplay to max it. So Its best to focus on a set class of character because spells are not universal but for the class types. Each class type have multiple sub classes which offer more diverse playstyles. Some characters even synergize well together, which means you and your duo can do some combos while playing casually.
Everyone is always available and friendly to play pve with you.

Some critique:
Its main target audience is french people from wakfu, your not going to find that many that speak english.
The game is repetitive in its pve mode. Pvp is underdeveloped and empty.
Would atleast take you 500-700h of efficient grinding just to max all your items, levels, companions and spells.
I am soon to be 300h, I am not halfway but 1/4th.
If you want to play a game like this casually, its something you would do with your duo.
Preferable while talking and chilling. I recommend trying it out but dont grind it.

Its a good game, like other card games you need to get cards. Some cards have different abilities when placed and you want to make a good synergy between them. There is great potential for 2v2 and the devs are currently developing it. As of right now its a simple card game where the effect details are not paragraphs long like yugioh.

A spin of battlerite/league, its a aggressive brawling game that focuses on battle royale.
There are other event modes as well and the characters you can try dictates your playstyle.
Very few bugs in the game and not that many different gamemodes. Those problems will be solved after a while.
Characters are very easy to get. After finishing tutorial you get total of 3 characters and one you can buy.
If you do all missions that you can do, you should be sitting with 6 characters total. Log in every day and do daily missions and you should be able to get 3 more characters. NOTE this with daily + log in missions. Thats already half the roster.
Battlepass levels also give gold so getting characters are not as grindy as most players say.

Only suggestions I have towards this game is to add a 2v2 arena with a map with it instead of spawning 3 teams of 2 right next to each other and say have a go at it. Balance wise, some characters dont have the same combo potential. Mostly archer types but they can make up to it with range but otherwise since last hit is punishable there are few characters that cant make up for it.

Game with the best freedom and most pvp oriented game. You can jump anyone at any time and they can jump you too. Most times opponent will wait for you to finish the bot, but they will fight you regardless of your hp. Meaning you have no choice but to fight. If you win, you can be cool and revive them but they will get full hp and most people will fight you again. Because of the hp difference you have big disadvantage if you were the victor.

The skill system is cool but I think the most impressive setting is that the main goal is to fight as many people as possible and the side goal is to follow the story quest. I think this is great because most game have their focus on the story. On those games after you complete the story, you get bored. This is not an issue in Absolver. Its an easy game to pick up too and I recommend you get this gem.

You spawn in maps take loot then you must take the ship back to the base.
On those maps there is hostile monsters and you can take their drops or focus on looting the area.
The problem is there is only 1 map and many players who are hungry to kill you.
1 out of 100 players is friendly.
Everyone is out for blood and if you die you loose everything you brought with you.
People spawn in every 10 seconds
Just trying to do your missions is challenging
because everyone will try to kill you on sight
You can spawn in with a squad but no one does it
Its a new game tho so there are not many players who be playing it but its a really fun game.

Don't buy this game. Devs have given up on this. I used to be top 1 on shadow on my prime and top 10-50s on all other classes. This game was good while it was supported. Dead game that I have dropped since years ago.

A game to play with friends while sitting on a call.

One of my favorite games that sucks while being good. You can only respect people who try to get better and dislike kids who cry after a loss. I don't understand why toxicity is needed but thats the state of this game.
