Early Access Review
Get in this game now!! It's so awesome, and yeah some people are salty but the devs care a whole lot and are very active with the community! It is definitely still in Early Access and has some more development needed, but this is certainly no case of the 'PUBGs'. They are making changes to make it something really viable and long lasting. I can't imagine playing any other FPS for QUITE some time (and I have been playing since shortly after release).

Early Access Review
It still has some growing to do, but I honestly love it and can't wait to see how it develops. I have fallen for rogue-likes, and the charm that this one has really sets it apart. As does it's potential.

BTW, It is certainly not abandonware, but people do have lives. Evidently the developers twitter is the best place to get an idea of the situation. Here!
