LUFTRAUSERS is a swift, explosive ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of badassery. Every combination of fighter is fun, and is an instant refresh for any repetition you might have forced yourself into. The music is layered with every different part you choose, so it's easy to get attached to specific combinations and tunes. Looking at the leaderboard will make you feel inadequate, and hateful. There's no nonsense in between plays, so it's easy to get back in when you've been thrashed.
Just moving in LUFTRAUSERS feels amazing. Depending on which engine you choose, you could get a nice sense of weight and heft, or make graceful, broad strokes through the air. The jet engine's snappy 180s are perfect for dodging a deluge of battleship bullets. Stay low to the water with armor and a laser, then ocsillate like a metronome of DEATH. I haven't tried every combonation, but I can't imagine going wrong.
Play it, and feel your stomach drop out on a dive.
