Anyone who deals, or has dealt with mental illness will connect with this game. Those who havn't might get a glimpse into the lives of those they love who have or are currently dealing with mental illnesses or PTSD.

Bedtime Phobias was able to craft a pretty realistic 'depression/anxiety/PTSD sim' with a fantastic allegorical storyline that was cohesive, poetic and pointed.

----Potential Spoilers, Don't Read Without Finishing----

The single interaction with the pot of food after the long day of dissociation really made me say 'yeah, these folks /get it/.''

Good MS Paint art, tangible story with clues to the end game, and a good attempt at audio design. 6/10, wouldn't quite recommend this one to a friend yet, but a -very- good first release from a new indie dev. Keep practicing, I'll be watching for the next release.

More choices would be a good addition, as well as some motion animation during 'pause-and-hold' segments to understand that the game isn't over yet would make for good updates, but that's my opinion.

Risk Of Rain meets Castlevania, with just a splash of eldritch influence.

Tense moments, apprehensive frustration turned to joyous accomplishment, and a desire to further the non-linear story makes for a great game after work!
