This is the best Serious Sam to date - I've played them all and this one simply gets everything about the formula PERFECT

Pop-in, slow texture loading and kind of long loading screens aside, this game has been a *blast* so far. The skill tree is new and refreshing, and you can respec whenever you want, even in combat, for free. The game has plenty of classic and new enemies, the civilian and military npc's are pretty funny, and it makes callbacks to earlier games that strike the nolstalgia bone hard for me. It even kind of acknowledges that Serious Sam 2 was a weird time for Sam in some of the loading screen quotes.

So much better than Civ5. Games start 1000 times faster and is a much more enjoyable, varying experience. At the start of the game, every unit can travel on water, and the magic is interesting and fun to use.

Plus magic is damn awesome.

Hells yeah I recommend this game. If you've got a squad of four to 8 people, this game is the best for coop skyship fighting.
