TL;DR:
Huge meatboy fan that created my whole profile themed after meatboy loved the art style and story but hated the gameplay.

First things first, I would like to highlight that I am a huge Meat Boy fan, you may view my profile and know how much I appreciate the art. I'm not gonna lie and say that the art and story was way above my expectations, but I have the same sentiments as every negative review here. The gameplay is terrible compared to the first game. It feels as if I am faulted for something the game caused, as the only thing I could control are the space bar and the down key... Auto runner are great games, but I would feel speed runner style did an amazing job, perhaps the devs could look into that in their next game. Or create a non auto runner DLC.

Sadly I have to give a thumbs down until a better DLC that can save the game comes up. Still loved the effort placed into art style and story though. If there is a mixed button, I would select that.

Awesome game! Have lots of laughs, love the style! Can't wait for DLC!
