I don't really see what the whole negative fuss is about revolving this DLC. I found it adds a lot of interesting additions to the game which definitely will bring you back to play the game more often.
Something I do not agree with though is the price. I only bought it full price (30€) because I was bored and had nothing to play and thought "Meh, what the hell".
Don't be like me though, buy this DLC when there's a sale or if they ever reduce the price, it's not worth 30€.

For someone who have played a lot of MMO's I'd say that this one isn't original at all.

What a useless DLC that won't even start because people cannot download it. How come this problem STILL isn't fixed!?
I will upvote as soon as you fix this problem.

Although I sometimes enjoy the game and casually try to start a game from time to time, I realize how many bugs there are, and how unbalanced it is in it's current state. Some bugs are even gamebreaking, which in my case makes me want to avoid multiplayer games because of it.

There are downsides, as well as there are upsides to this game of course - but ultimately, I would not recommend this game as it is right now. Hopefully in a near future they will update the game by fixing the bugs, balance things out, and maybe even add more content.

EDIT: It took them a lot of years, but it's a lot better now gameplay-wise. The cartoonish style is really awful though. I'm hopefull we will see a more realistic approach in the next Civ series.

It's content that should've come with a free update. I played one game and then I had pretty much seen everything that the new expansion had to give. Very, very disappointing.

They promised a bunch and they gave 0 f**ks.
