If you have a deep hatred toward yourself you must really like this game.
Flash games that I played in the Cartoon Network website in 2001 have more charm than this lowkey piece of software

Hyperdimension Neptunia.... what can I say about it? I'm not fond of turn-based RPGs but this one was quite easy to get into, as well as having pretty fun dialogues. If you're into anime or memes in general you might enjoy this game.
Prologue
The game is set in Gamindustry and a console war has begun, featuring Nintendo's console goddess counterpart White Heart, Microsoft's counterpart, Green Heart, Sony's counterpart Black Heart and as last, the protagonist; Sega's console counterpart, Purple Heart. During the last battle they had the first three godesses decided to team up and to defeat Purple Heart, which loses her memory, Neptune, as is, will meet alongside Compa and IF and will begin a journey to discover who she is and what's going on.
Pros
  • Funny dialogues (lots of 4th wall breaks there)
  • Loveable characters
  • Has many references to videogames (not as many as the original game for PS3) and anime in general
  • On the long way you'll end up having lots of cute party members
  • Compa
Cons
  • Out of the 3 It's the most difficult one to finish as there are many roadblocks boss-wise
  • Without DLC characters it feels like an endless grindfest
  • The Dungeons are basically the same most of the time
  • Compa is an useless party member unfortunately

DLC Characters
DLC characters, unless you don't want to spend endless hours in grinding, are highly suggested. The oracles are good for early game since they'll destroy basically anything but on the long run they will suffer as their equipment isn't as good as other party members in mid-late game, where basically everyone catches up. Iris Heart and Yellow Heart are good and in a way balanced, will still make the game challenging while making it much lighter to play compared to IF and Compa, especially in the first roadblock of the game. Baby IF and Baby Compa are IF and Compa's baby variants but much stronger, featuring different skills. Uzume is on between Yellow heart and Iris Heart and Baby IF and Compa's. For Histoire... you'll get her in late game, but she's okay-ish

Early Access Review
Quake Champions tries to appeal to both old and new fans by bringing a Quake 3 wannabe arena shooters by mixing heroes and abilities, and... for a side, It's good and could work, especially if you're trying to get into arena shooters. It has a nice roster with very likeable characters, I've spent most of my time playing as Nyx, each character comes with its peculiar abilities and its stats (armor/health/speed), the maps aren't bad either and allow for lots of movements and many sectors can let you engage foes very easily. There aren't really many positive aspects in this game, the learning curve is still wide since movements is down to your skill but It's a neutral aspect honestly, as some may like it while some don't. The graphics is nice and really well made, you can distinguish each character while fighting or moving. The game suffers of poor optimizations to the point where even a top notch PC will struggle to run it and will just keeps getting worse after each patch rolled. But It's a gamble as some people were able to run it while some others weren't. The game initially had a loot box system with champions that became expensive the more you bought (the first champ was close to 50k money, the second one was around 300k if I remember correctly), now they got rid of both systems and the champions are affordable without relying on the paywall and they replaced the loot boxes with a season pass and a "Champion progress", which will let you unlock the champion's cosmetics manually through the battle pass. It's a shame that most shooters nowadays follow the battle royale formula, but I can't blame them, if they're planning to make F2P games they'll have to adapt to earn incomes. In the end, if you can manage to get it running without huge framedrops/stuttering and you can stand long loading times then congratulations, if not, Quake 3 Arena, Quake Live or the countless indie games are still viable choices.

As I wrote somewhere else, if there's a game you shouldn't judge by its cover, that's Senran Kagura. I just did the test over and over, and the result was always the same. "Haha Fanservice - The Game" "Wow this game must have some great plot" and such. If you're trying to get into this game, and at least, understand what happened before, I'd suggest you to play Senran Kagura Burst or watch the anime first, as it explains the conflict between Hanzo and Hebijo schools, but hey, we're talking about a spinoff, so don't bother about it too much, as most characters' backstories are already explained there, and that's where SK gets good. Aside the monster-sized boobs, the characters are well developed, each one with its reason of why they became a shinobi, and how they relate between each other makes the game quite interesting. I swear, I was kinda disappointed by the plot in this game, as the 3DS titles (Senran Kagura Burst and Senran Kagura 2 Deep Crimson) had a much more interesting plot (and longevity), but I actually liked the gameplay here, kinda repetitive as you just have to smack a lot of foes and other shinobis mixed with ecchi stuff and boobs, but I really enjoyed the side-stories of each character, as some were really funny, and the online side, which let me check out how other players play, and actually improve myself through practice. Although my PC doesn't meet the reccomended requirements (got a GTX560 there) the game runs smoothly even at 1080p HD, while my old laptop (integrated graphic card) runs it at full speed ONLY if the game is on the lowest resolution, otherwise it'll just have costant framedrops. If you're planning to get this game I'd highly suggest to play the first game (Senran Kagura Burst, although the framerate might not be that good) or watch the anime (although it doesn't have the Hebijo's story side, and it has tons of fanservice) as it lets you understand what happened before SV.
