Great game. Lots of fun to play with friends

By far my favorite installation in the Just Cause series and by far my favorite game of all time. I'm a little disappointed in the bugs that were released with the original launch, and also the FPS and lag problems. However, with a little bit of problem solving I was able to fix the lag and FPS problems, although I still have some problems with stuttering.

Also for all those that are complaining about the FPS and the stuttering, get over it. If it's still playable than it shouldn't be a problem if you love the game. The game is amazing so I just moved past the stuttering.

I wrote the review above when I was about 30 hrs into the game. Now 100+ hours later I have more to add. I still stand with everything above, HOWEVER, I cannot recommend this game to someone else. I love it myself, but there is just too much wrong with the game (not just performance wise).

Cons:
1) Insula Striate is WAY too plain. There are very few bases, and the bases are all at least 1-2 KM apart, not really making for a lot of fun in terms of liberation. Just like Just Cause 2 Rico is supposed to overthrow a dictator, a dictator who is all powerful and has seemingly infinite money to spend. So why would this region be left so barren?
2)The performance issues (no need to say more)
3)Some of the game mechanics and animations need work. All over the place I run into invisible textures that block me from doing things. It's not extremely obvious, but it is a little annoying to constantly run into them. In terms of animation bugs, one very common one is when you try to reel into a vehicle and press E to hijack, it sends Rico into a rag-doll and makes him fall off of the vehicle.
4) The challenges. PLEASE fix these. There are a few that are super annoying and seemingly impossible to complete unless you spend a long time doing them. I think that instead of investing so much time into creating these difficult challenges the Dev's should have added more to the story line.
5) No mini-map:( This can be good and bad, but with the new way that the military heat works I think that a mini-map is irrelevant.
6) Fix loading times. The game loads WAY too slow sometimes.

Pros:
1) The graphics are beautiful*, however this does lead to performance issues:(
2) The wing suit and new parachute/reeling animations are very polished compared to the clunky ones in JC2
3) The weapons and vehicles. I love the weapon and vehicle selection, along with the new damage that they do/take.
4) No health bar. Definitely a very good decision.
5) Less collectibles. There were a tremendous amount of items you had to collect in JC2. It was such a pain in the ass. I'm so glad they toned those down a bit.
6) *The new explosions are beautiful and very well done. This goes along with the new way of destroying bridges and statues. Those were very well done. I can spend all day blowing up bridges:) Also the fact that chaos objects no longer have health bars makes it much more fun to blow up the objects.

Things I would add:
1) Multiplayer (obviously, however a mod is in the works:)
2) MORE cities and bases
3) The ability to cave in tunnels, a similar damage module to that of bridges.
4) More gear mods. Add more challenges and make the challenges overall LESS challenging (I know that sounds weird), that way you can unlock more gear mods.

If I don't give this a 10/10 I will be killed by anyone and everyone on steam. It's a must get game if you own steam and like to ♥♥♥♥ around.

Really fun, similar to a lot of other realistic FPS's out there.

A lot different then I thought it would be. Great one to start on would be III, but overall the game was still fun.

Not really worth it. The upgrade is good but DO NOT spend $5 for this, it gives you hardly anything for your money.

When I first saw this game I thought that it would be a cool game to play if I had nothing else to do and I thought; Hey the graphics are nice, so why not? So I bought the game and it just sat in my library for about 6 months and I didn't touch it. Then my friend bought it and I decided that I would give the game a try. It blew my mind, the graphics were beyond what I thought was possible for this game and just the feel of the game makes me feel like the Devs actually put time and effort into the game. Now I know that I only have a couple hrs (at the time of the review) and I probably shouldn't be able to judge, but the game is just way too good to not write a review.

10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Awesome game. Got addicted to it in the first 10 minutes of playing. As of right now you can't really get into it too much because there needs to be a lot fixed. The graphics need to be tweaked along with the general controls. I love driving cars and running over zombies (thats 95% of why I play) and I have noticed the steering and reverse needs to be fixed. But all and all great early access game and I think it has a lot of potential. Another thing I have noticed that is terrible is the crafting GUI.

Great starter FPS and has surprisingly good graphics. I would recommend you play this game especially if you are new to FPS's
