Best $.49 I could spend

Not realistic at all. After quite a few hours I got tired of getting shot through walls before I even come around a corner. Not only that, but there's also ZERO content to this game for $60. You get about a dozen missions and some crappy community mod support, but that's it. Granted they're still working on the game, but it's outside of early access now, and I really don't think it should be for how little content there is. Really wish I hadn't paid $60 for this game.

Not that fun of a game as it stands right now. It has amazing potential and I will definitely be purchasing this game again once a lot more work is done.

I am so glad this game came to PC. I played this game shortly on a friends Playstation right after it came out and thought it was a decent game. Never really gave it a second thought until I saw it on sale recently on Steam. Being in-between games right now, I figured it would give it a try.

This has to be one of my favorite games of all time. Definitely in my top 5 singleplayer games. I grinded this game for 5+ hours a day everyday until I beat it. For as small as the map is, it felt gigantic. The story missions were pretty repetitive, hunt down this person, collect this item, clear this area, but the story was so gripping that I couldn't stop playing.

Never have I felt so connected to a story, it felt like a movie, and played like a movie. I've seen complaints that there are too many cut-scenes, and frankly I do agree. However, for a first play-through I didn't mind it. If felt like I was the one in control of a thrilling movie. The only thing that ruined some of the immersion is how clunky the gameplay felt with it being a port from Playstation, but once I got used to that I didn't even notice unless there was a game-breaking bug.

Being from Oregon myself, and spending quite a bit of time in the Crate Lake/Bend area, it was a blast seeing what it would take to survive were there ever an apocalypse in my lifetime. I now know that Wizard Island is the best place to hole up at the end of the world. I truly can't recommend this game enough; especially if you are from Oregon.

After giving it more of a chance, the game is definitely an improvement over the titles from the last decade or so. It still doesn't live up to the likes of NFS MW, Carbon or the Hot Pursuits from the 2000s, but it definitely gives me that feel.

Once I started unlocking tuning for my cars, I was actually impressed with how much there is. Sure, you can't custom tune each aspect of the car like in Forza, but there is still a lot you can do. It feels like they took the tuning systems from Carbon and MW and completely improved it across the board - I am quite impressed.

Couple more features that I love is the lack of AI catch-up. It seemed like the previous games, no matter how much faster your car was, the AI would always keep up with you. This was especially prevalent in Carbon and MW. But in this game, I've found myself getting miles ahead or lapping opponents when my car is at a higher tune. The other feature that I quite enjoy is the proper Turbo sounds. Forza does almost everything better than this game except for the Turbo sounds. I'm not sure what it is, but in Forza you get great Supercharger sounds, but the Turbo sounds are almost nonexistent. This game has fantastic turbo sounds, and they don't sound nearly as cheesy as you think they would.

I've always welcomed the arcade feel of the game, but I feel like it was so close to an actual serious game that I would love to fall in love with. The story is very interesting, but the arcade feel just ruins any immersion into the actual story for me. They really could have done away with most of the race markers and just used flares as markers instead to make it feel more realistic. And get rid of the long jumps.

TLDR: This game is very impressive compared to other NFS titles over the past decade, but it still falls short of the all-time greats that were released in the early 2000s.

I played the beta briefly and thought that it was a decent game, but never really thought it was worth it to buy. However, when it went on sale for $10 I figured it would be a fun game to pickup and try while I'm in-between games. To my surprise, this game is a blast. I love stealth games, especially the Tom Clancy series, and I've become addicted to playing this. I would highly recommend this game if you have friends to play with and can pick it up on sale.

It was definitely fun, but all they did was recycle the idea from FH3. To be fair, I mostly blame the community for begging for Hot Wheels to come back. I would have preferred something more unique considering I spent $100 for the Ultimate Edition.

One thing I really liked about it is the progression. You can't use higher tiered cars until you progress in the races. It really gave you a satisfying sense of progression compared to the base game where as soon as you unlock a Lamborghini, that's all you're gonna use going forward for everything.

The game is surprisingly competitive. Very fun to play with friends

I love Need for Speed, and this is a good game, but how many times are they going to remaster the same game/series? We've been begging for a NFS Underground/Carbon/MW remake for years. Unless you pick this game up at a steep discount like I did - just skip it and wait for EA to finally release a good remaster.

Game of the year for sure. Definitely needs some optimization, but other then that I'm already having a blast
