Looks like the machine it was on restarted, I've allowed it to auto-restart on machine reboot, this should fix any future automatically scheduled restarts.

I've deployed a patch with additional message delay and rebroadcasted today's deal, I'm hoping that'll resolve Steam rate limiting us.
