Hades is an absolute masterpiece, blending intense, rewarding gameplay with a deeply engaging story. Supergiant Games has crafted a roguelike experience that stands out in every possible way.

Gameplay: The combat is fluid, dynamic, and incredibly satisfying. Each weapon feels unique, and the variety of boons from the Olympian gods ensures that no two runs feel the same. The combination of fast-paced action with strategic planning makes every attempt exciting and challenging.

Story: The narrative is woven seamlessly into the gameplay, with rich character interactions and development that keep you invested in every escape attempt. Zagreus's journey to escape the Underworld and uncover the secrets of his family is compelling, and the voice acting is top-notch.

Visuals and Audio: The art style is stunning, with beautifully crafted environments and character designs. The music is phenomenal, perfectly capturing the mood of each area and encounter. Darren Korb's soundtracks are both haunting and exhilarating, enhancing the overall experience.

Replayability: Hades shines in its replayability and meta progression. With numerous upgrades, a plethora of unlockable content, and a story that evolves with each run, there's always something new to discover. The game encourages experimentation and improvement, making every playthrough feel fresh and unique.

This game is a triumph in game design, storytelling, and artistic expression. Whether you're a fan of roguelikes / roguelites or new to the genre, this game offers an unforgettable experience that is well worth your time.

I truly can't recommend this game enough.

I personally really enjoyed this season. The story was great and was full of unexpected turns as usual and I liked the improved, but still the original graphics style.
However, there are some negatives to it aswell.
In my opinion it is not worth the full price especially compared to the other main seasons. I'd recommend getting it on a discounted price if possible simply due to the short 8-9 hour playtime making it the shortest full-length TWD season.
I felt like some parts were rushed. At one point I was still in shock of what was going on and the game went on like nothing has happened in the blink of an eye.
SPOILER
One example being Kenny,who survived the whole series then getting a 5 minute long, rushed flashback and dying.
Nonetheless, I'd still recommend this game. Not as great as the previous ones for sure, but still an enjoyable rollercoaster of emotions.

Moxxi is in it.
