Love it so far. Bought it while it was on sale, hoping for a Diablo clone based on the W40k universe. Ranged combat is fun and the flamer is awesome. Stilll trying out other builds and don't have a ton of time in it yet, but still having fun.

Phoenix Point: Year One Edition is still rough around the edges. However, if you can get past that there is a meaty strategy/squad based combat game here. I quickly learned to dump assault rifles and get shotguns for all my assaults, that helped tremendously. Now, I'm working on getting my diplomacy up with other factions. I I hit 75% with Synedrion and I've gotten their technology research. This has allowed me to upgrade my soldiers with cybernetic body parts and access to the infiltrator as a base class. It is tough going in the beginning but it seems to open up in the middle stages of the game. I haven't experienced late game yet, so here's hoping it holds up.
