Early Access Review
I highly recommend this game to everyone.
(real review after small rant)
I have a serious ire towards people who don't recommend an early access game for the reason being the game doesn't have enough content, or complain about a personal issue they have with the game. It's whether you recommend the game for others, not yourself. But without further ado, here is my review:

Let's start with the grime of the game.
Flaws:
TLDR: The game has a lack of variation when it comes to content, and the balancing is unfavourable, or rather there is none, for smaller groups of players.

- The game has no way to rebind keys or hotkeys for the toolbar, which can only be accessed awkwardly using the scrolling wheel. Honestly, this does take some getting used to. Thankfully most of the controls are intuitive and basic!

- There is not much variation in terms of location and loot inside of the dungeons. All of the first 6 or so moons have a very basic facility map made up of a very limited number of blocks but this is expected for a game in early access.

- A lot of the loot in the facility dungeon is incredibly heavy, which makes playing solo or duo a huge pain since you have to carry just as much loot back with less people.

- The hazard levels make completely no sense to me, this may be something I'm missing but do they have no indication of actual danger? Everywhere I find online has different results and there are a ton of articles claiming to know how it works, but then it not making sense when you actually apply it. It would be great if there were a post about this on the wiki.

- When playing solo, there's no way to save scrap you had previously stored in the ship when you die. If you have two people then usually one person can escape and save the remaining scrap, but if you get killed without even seeing by what as a solo it just feels horrible. I had a run where I looted a room, walked back towards the exit, and got killed by a coil-head within half a second although I never saw it (I watched back the video to ensure I never saw it). Ended up losing my whole run because of it.

- There is currently no end game or goal in Lethal Company, at a certain point your quota becomes too much to handle, especially when playing as a solo or duo. The only thing you get for doing well is experience, which is lost upon deaths. There needs to be some kind of larger goal at play which will entice players that have seen it all already to keep playing.

Enough of the flaws though, let's get to the actual juicy and fun part of the review.
That's right, it's things the game does amazingly:
TLDR: The game is hilarious, has amazing visuals and sound design, and when playing in large groups (3/4) the balancing for the game is done just right.

- Opportunity for humour is something that people don't usually talk about in reviews, comedy in games is sometimes looked over when the game has great graphics or amazing action but honestly this game is hilarious as ♥♥♥♥. The main reason why so many people are hooked on it is because of how funny the game is, watching your friends die with amazing comedic timing and hearing their voice cut off by the proximity voice chat is an experience everyone loves. I'm going to include emotes in this post as well, because the emotes in this game have great potential for funny clips if used well.

- The style of this game is oddly beautiful, although it doesn't look amazing the game is pretty well optimised (as far as I've seen) and I've never been in a situation where the blurry vision seriously impairs my game play, I've seen other reviews complain about this, so if you're worried this might be an issue for you then remember that you can refund the game if it's too bad for your experience.

- Something that everyone talks about, the sound design. The echos created in different environments, the footsteps, the eerie noises, the enemy sound ques, everything is just put together so beautifully to create a terrifying but joyful experience. And we can't forget the music tracks, some of the tracks in this game are absolute bangers.

- Difficulty is something that is hard to get right in games, and the base difficulty for this game is incredibly forgiving- if you play in groups of 4 like you're meant to, and you almost never risk losing everything. It's designed well to work like this and I'm adding it to things the game does right because of how well it works outweighs the bad parts of solo and duo playing. We've seen games completely lose popularity due to it being too easy, and I hope that future balancing doesn't ruin this.

Conclusion:
Again, I highly recommend this game to anyone with disposable income who wants to have a laugh with up to 3 friends. Or if you have more friends, check out the modding community for the game. This game is an amazing gem for having a singular developer and only being in early access. Even if you're not sure if you will like it, buy it and refund it if you don't like it after an hour or so.

This game is an experience that everyone should have.

Great game, may have terrible graphics but the gameplay is amazing! I find it quite hard though, is that not everyone though?
