This game means a lot to me.

I'd be lying if I said it was because its perfect or always fun,
but somewhere along the way, the seed planted back in Lobotomy Corp
flourished into a festering obsession in the library.

Project Moon's universe lives rent free in my head, and I'll never regret that.

Early Access Review
After playing Stellaris, Sins of a Solar Empire, Empire at War, and Battlefleet Gothic, this outdoes all of them in getting you in the battle. Besides the fact combat is actually 3D, sitting in the bridge, getting reports from your commanders about their statuses, watching a barrage of lasers and missiles fire from your ship as it descends on the enemy fleet, it's fun and looks great.

Pros
-The ship designs are original and pretty good looking
-As someone who can't have more than 2 people in Blade and Sorcery, this game has never slowed down
-The dialogue lovely, because despite there being about 3 voice actors + 2 robots, the Campaign banter is excellent, and adds to the World Building
-Between Missions, the ship customization is great, adding different components and captains can make the same ship functionally different, meaning it actually serves a purpose
-It looks pretty good
-Microing is very fun, and depending on who you are, more fun than actually flying your flagship
-Instead of having generic deathmatch missions between story mission, you repeat story missions while building up your fleet To beat the Battlecruiser at point-blank in Mission 9
-If you're tired, you can play it while sitting, all buttons can be activated from distance
-If you're sad you can't fly a star destroyer, the workshop is in progress and some talented people on the Discord are already importing ships
-Speaking of the Discord, if you have a problem, you can always complain directly to the solo Dev (Ken's trying his best)

Cons
-No stop button, meaning once a ship is moving (because moving and attacking are different) you have to move it somewhere else, meaning you might ruin your firing arcs
-Leaving the Captains to their own devices means they might ram a large ship and blow themselves up (might)
-Your inventory keeps every level one cannon that you replace in your inventory individually, clogging it up and making it take longer to get the missile section
-Other nitpicks and bugs happen, but they're far between
-No big broadside ship :(
-Besides the local PC co-op, this game is entirely singleplayer (As of now)

All In All: Buy It
This is a spectacular project coming from a solo developer, the game can only get better at this rate.
