The Technomancer, yeah...it is a nice game, but it comes with a lot of issues. Just let me adress the Pros and Cons. For me, the Pros overweight, but it might be a bit different if you value other assets of a game:

Pros

+ Interesting fighting system (3 styles with corresponding skill tree + 1 major style (usable together with the other styles))
+ Interesting setting, nice world to explore, nice people to talk with
+ Story and atmosphere
+ A whole lot of factions with different interests. Decide for yourself with which one you want to align
+ Companion system (speak a bit with your pals and they will offer you free boni)
+ Multiple ways to get things done
+ Romance options

Cons

- Level resets (when you enter a new room it MIGHT happen that the enemies you fought before respawn. Meaning that this occurs really random...some guys I knocked out lay there for the rest of the game, some respawn every time i turn around)
- Skill trees (as mentioned before you can skill for 3 different combat styles. But you will only use one since there a basically like 3 new abilities to unlock and the rest is powering them up...one tree has many symbiotic effects in itself....so if u decided to play with poison dmg for example and you would suddenly switch to another tree, you will start from scratch, wasting the 20 skill points you spent on poison. Since you cannot use 3 wepaons at once you will power up one to its max and ignore the others. If you could reset them from time to time it would be great)
- Enemies power up ( at some points enemies get a power spike, you dount feel like dealing any dmg to them anymore....your are upskilled as ♥♥♥♥, but feel like you just started on extreme mode...now imagine that with trying a new skill tree.)
- Looting/Crafting (there is nice little crafting system but it is very dull tbh. You can do health and mana potions and explosion traps...but thats it...i never even crafted anything and had 30/80/30 left at the end of the game. Not to mention that mana potions are useless nontheless. You just tend to carry around all the materials you will never use and get overweighted in no time.)
-Stealth (there are options for skilling stealth, but it is very useless. You might be seen a bit worse, and might be able to kill one guy from behind...but then all others realise you and kill you....most of the time there arent even gaps where you could sneak a complete level unseen...so you waste 3 skill points on "maybe" getting the first kill without hassle in a fight with 8 people. Completely useless.)
-Moving around (you can avoid fighting and simply bypass opponents, but this only works as long as tehre is no door or ledge in the way. Cause they require you to interact with them to go over. But you cannot interact while in fighting mode. So you always look for the most door/ledgeless way to get where you want to be. And thats sadly not the shortest way.)
- Running for quests (Most quests consist of "run there, speak with him/her". So you find yourself running around like 70% of this game [avoiding doors and ledges].)
- Dialogue options (there are many ways to solve problems, which is a good thing, but they require certain attributes like charisma or scienceknowledge. You can get these by changing your clothing, but in most dialogues you dont have this option. Sometimes you can leave the dialogue, change clothing and continue with better stats, but most of the time you cant...feeling really dumb to always run around with extra clothing for every occasion)
- Trasparency (most quests have good and bad impact on factions. But if you half read the story [like me] you dont know what will happen. Finish a quest which seems unproblematic in your vision and bamm: -2 Reputation for that other group. An advise telling you which impact a quest will have might be useful. [or maybe telling you that you cannot sleep with Amelia, when you tell Niesha that you love her, damnit!])
- Minor issues
-- lose Karma when getting serum from riders, which shouldnt count as person kill
-- get stuck when rolling by a lot of things

The Technomancer feels like an unfinished AAA. It starts with a lot of cool options but doesnt think enough about them, rendering them mostly useless overall. It might be funny to change things while in a second playthrough, but damn...wasting another 20 hours running around most of the time to see slightly different developments? No thanks.
