When "Rising Up" started playing during that elevator fight, i knew i was playing something special. This game instantly felt nostalgic and fresh at the same time. It managed to stay true to it's predecessors and also add something new to it. True banger, recommended to all fans of this franchise and it's genre. Power Slide ;)

The city's cold and empty
No one's around to judge me
I can't see clearly when you're gone

I said, ooh, I'm blinded by the lights...

Don't mind me i'm playing "Blinding Lights" on that piano.

When from the ashes of souls this game was born
The path to the miracle was latently sworn
Ignoring this road which is full of agony
That my friend is called a blasphemy.

Chaotic, magnetic
The story's unveiling
Torture and suffering
It all makes us maddening

Once loss was accepted
And mindset directed
Banished was darkness
There's no hela problems.

Aloy my little princess
Your actions left me speechless
Sadly your game has a weakness
Difficulty requires more deepness.

8/10 Waiting for a sequel.

Let me say this: Tower-Defense genre isn't something i enjoy like others, but Dead Ground is an exception. Reason behind it lies in a fact that it feels unique, it has a deeper mechanics than your standard Tower-defense game. You can control a hero (there's variety of heroes after you unlock them) directly on battlefield, moving around map, using skills and shooting at enemies, this one honestly was one of the main reasons why i enjoyed playing this game, cause i'm not a fan of just "place tower to shoot enemies" gameplay. Purchasing and selling equipment, collecting resources, improving base are all part of game too, levels feel unique and road events interesting. Also as a big fan of Soundtracks (In movies and in games) i can say that this one matches mood of game and it's atmosphere and they complement each other.
I can't say i have played it a lot for now, but from what i've seen so far i want to give this game recognition it deserves and want to see more games from Dev - ShotX Studio. First steps are correct and future seems bright. So keep it up.

This is not a a final review since i'm on a 39th out of 72 levels.

Mooch is a very atmospheric game, which you will feel after pressing a play button on your game library, even in menu you will see that you are gonna play something special and you won't be wrong.
Game starts with a beautifull intro, where you are told about a world where protagonist lives and what struggle he should overcome during adventure, this intro really sets up mood for a game and even has some philosophical aspects in it.
As you enter your first mission game will start haunting you, there's big variety of enemies as game progresses and each mission you pass they will become harder and harder, each level in later stage will require multiple restarts and sometimes you may even get mad of failing mission again (that's a positive thing for me).
Every 8th level is a boss fight and all of the bosses are different and require various tactics to beat them, it's a good experience.
But the real strength of Mooch lies in it's great art design, graphics are hand-crafted and you will notice all the hard work devs put in it, it's a visual splendor and music which is used in game fits it very well.
Only weakness that i noticed so far is a lack of story progression, game starts with a promissing story and you want to hear more about this world because it's very interesting, also keep in mind that i haven't beaten game yet so it may change later.
Overally game deserves recognition and it's worth every penny you pay for it. I hope to see more games from devs of Mooch, since it's a very promising beginning and i can't imagine what they can offer us if they will have bigger budget.

P.S - I will edit review once i will beat game.
